Great little Italian city that is not touristy. Lots to see with plenty of history. The old cathedral is a hidden gem, the castle is a must visit just for the view and the museum of Santa Giulia was great. To eat for lunch, Dolcevita was great in the Duomo sq. And dinner Trattoria Caprese is recommendable.
It does not seem safe. Too many immigrants at the railway station. When I get off the train I didn't know if I'm in Europe or in Africa. These people walk around and observe people, especially tourists with bags. Because of them I had to cancel my trip to Cremona.
Very squeezed for time visitors can we much of what it has to offer in a day. The castle, the Roman ruins and some of the churches and piazzale are all within walking distance of each other. Taxi may be advisable to get up the hill on which the castle stands, but it is not too steep a hike. As a student town (2 universities located in the center) there are some good cheap eats. Apparently the nightlife is supposed to be good, but this reviewer missed out of a single overnight stay chance to grab any drinks due to a 163 minutes late train ~ thanks, Trenitalia... In any case, there is definitely a stronger student presence just behind the twin churches and by the cloister at the northern edge of old town.
I liked very much about the management of staff( Ms.Laura). Though the location and network facility was not satisfied, she made me to forgot everything and enjoy by her brilliant approach and tactics.
We stayed just for one night. I had never been to Brescia before and knew very little about the town. I found Brescia to be a very nice town with relaxed athmosphere and many nice places and restaurants. A lot of pedestrian areas.
Really enjoyed sitting in the square people watching by the cathedral. Castle was a great place to visit -couldn't believe it was free. The Metro was brilliant, so clean, modern & easy to use.

I do recommend this small hotel. The gentleman who runs the place seems ready to go the extra mile to meet customer's needs. My room was very spacious and it was all about elegant minimalism. The room was facing one of the busiest roads in Brescia, but the insonorization was great. The breakfast was great, better of what I've seen in many hotels with more stars. There were plenty of plugs in the room which can't be always taken for granted in general.

The lady at reception was so lovely, kind and helpful. She gave such thoughtful ideas for my little girl and my trip. She was not charged I think. The breakfast was abundant - excellent variety, presentation and service. The decor of the hotel is very much in keeping with the spirit of the lovely, historical Brescia town. Excellent air conditioning too. Such fantastic value for money and joy, I must say.

Clean, central, well equipped with all you need. Stefano is open minded and can give you a lot of recommendations what to do/visit/where to eat/park/shop. Also very helpful for any request you might have. If you need something just talk to him. Breakfast is rich and worth it's price (5€). I'll definitely come back to Mich&Letti if I'm in Brescia again!

It was a great hotel, if you are there to see Brescia, it's not exactly in the center city, our purpose there however was something else nearby, so it was very good location, friendly stuff, bus stop just in front of the door, subway is also close.
