Location was a short drive up the hill from Marciana Marina. I'm not sure how you would get there without driving, but if you are driving, this is highly recommended for a group stay. Very quiet and clean. Host was very welcoming.

The hotel is a charming, family-run property where hospitality is superb. The staff is welcoming and eager to please. Location couldn’t be better if one is staying on this side of Elba. It is walkable to several wonderful restaurants and shops. It reminded me in lovely ways of summer holidays with my family when I was a child.
While not open after 20:00 in the evening for dining, the breakfast and lunch options were simply delicious!

Marciana is a small, fine town with an old, well-preserved building structure that lives from tourism but is careful not to overcrowd the town with tourists. This way it remains authentic. The people there are usually helpful and friendly. However, very few of them can speak English.

The terraces of the rooms have excellent views over the sea and the shores of Elba. The rooms are small and simple but fine for such an island vacation. It was convenient that the hotel has its own restaurant ( on a terrace with a view from Corsica to mainland Tuscany). Food is ok. Staff was helpful and kind.

Very much a small family hotel, spotlessly cleaned ( actually by the owner) and with fresh homemade food and vegetables from the garden. And it has a pool, too.
