Older hotel in a quaint, cute mountain town between lakes Como and Lugano. The rooms are very basic and no-frills, but clean and the staff is friendly. Good value for the price, good breakfast with a variety of pastries, eggs, cold cuts. Very quiet, awesome view, short walk to the town square.
The Sant'Anna is a historic inn located in the Valle D'Intelvi, near the small town of Argegno, on Lake Como. All rooms have a private bathroom with hairdryer.

The meals were lovely especially the porcini mushrooms which are in season. These days it seems many hotels have started to skimp on the soaps etc so it was nice that the hotel provided them. It’s close to many beautiful hikes and not far from the lake. Nice front lawn seating.
