Beautiful view up on the hillside with an amazing staff. Interesting funicular up to the rooms if needed. Peaceful and so quite with lovely balconies showing some of the best views on the lake . MATTIA WAS A LIFESAVER and Elena and Veronica were just as amazing. I would stay just for the staff alone. The TV's were in the process of being upgraded, but honestly we don't go to Maggiore to watch TV in our room. Price to quality ratio is there. Obviously not a 5* resort but the room was lightly furnished and very comfortable and I will be coming back . The huge decks offer views that are unsurpassed.

The friendly and helpful staff made our stay memorable. They were very attentive and the dining room staff went out of their way to ensure we had every food, drink and comfort we could hope for. The inclusive bar and wine at dinner were the cherry on the top of the divine menu and experience. I love to give 5-star ratings when deserving, and this hotel takes them all. Great attentive staff . Location overlooking Lago Maggiore sunrise looking east . Rooms situated above a busy road. Breakfasts excellent great value in the bar/restaurant overlooking the lake. The beach area was small but private plenty of space for the sun worshiper.
