"You can't judge a book by it's cover"... a mile up a gravel road to a few old, stone houses?...but Casa Ollie is full of art, books, music, and beauty. Petra is a wonderful host. Comfortable rooms and beautiful views.

Very nice small hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast located in a very interesting small town. We will definitely stay here again next time we're in the area.

Great location. Clean, cozy, beautiful. Friendly staff, wonderful breakfast. A distinct and complete contrast to the COLOSSEUM RESORT hotel in Rome, which I would not recommend to anyone.

Location is exceptional (especially as a "base" for touring Tuscany), breakfast was ok, the hotel and the rooms were very clean. Staff was nice and very helpful, although we had a hard time communicating in English (at the hotel restaurant mostly). Restaurant food was great as well as their local wine. Garden and hotel grounds are well maintained and beautiful but the proximity to a busy road takes away the feeling of being in nature.
Castel San Gimignano is a great little village. The locals are very friendly. Has everything you need, a local shop for freshly baked bread every morning great deli and all your essentials. Bigger supermarket only 15/20 mins away. Great local bar for your espresso, cold beer or ice cream and amazing local restaurant Tre Archi where we ate regularly on chill out days, great selection of local Tuscan cuisine as well as really catering for children.
