Perfect location to visit many attractions in area, super friendly owners who made our stay more than expected. Very good Wi-Fi all around the place. Dinner with a reasonable price. Comfortable and spacious rooms and good water pressure. Large safe parking space and nice big pool. Very clean all around, will certainly go again if visiting that area.

the best feature was the kindness - courteous attitude of the host. He was present continually to help or advise in in whatever need.
The room was always kept clean and the bed most comfortable ….I felt as if I was staying with my relatives.

Friendly, hospitable hostess; obliging and very helpful. The location was very convenient with good beaches 10 min drive away. Comfortable apt, all conveniences provided. The outside private patio was a bonus. A 'local' feel to Balestrate and a refreshing break from the busy Palermo swarming with tourists. Great local restaurants. Highly recommended.

Balestrate is a lively small Sicilian town 30 drive from Palermo airport (Pmo). It is a good starting point for exploring Palermo and west parts of Sicily. The beach seemed a bit abundant but we were there out of tourist season. Rental car is essential as there is so much to explore, from beautiful beaches with crystal clear waters to traditional Sicilian villages and hiking opportunities.

Nice, rather calm town.
Nice, rather calm town. Typical colorful houses, narrow streets, swuare with historic church. They have at least few restaurants with typical, fine cuisine (try disiu pizza - perfect pizza; siculish - artisanal sicilian cuisine; cia vuru ri tradizioni - suprising restaurant with great atmosphere, food and interior). Beach is broad and accessible for swimmimg, a bit not clean (some plastic bottles, etc.), but maybe during the peak season they clean it better (I hope). We had great time, proces are affordable (cafe/restaurant). You may easily reach the town from Punta Raisi by public transport or use private transfer (public transport for 4 person is ca. €30 / private transport €35 booked in Balestrate Jumbo car rental).

Small quiet town.
Small quiet town. Between Palermo and Trapani. 30 minutes car drive to Palermo airport. Good for making trips to Erice, Palermo, Segesta, Monreale. Trafić was not bad at all. Instead of going by car you can take a bus.

Balestrate its nice small town.
Balestrate its nice small town. There is plenty of shops, pubs, bars and restaurants. There are nice small bakeries which amazing Sicillan bread straight from the oven. You will have choice of lovely Sicilian food to try like sweet pastry, sandwiches, pasta and sea food.
If you thinking of visiting other parts of Sicily you will need to rent a car as there isn't much of public transport, only a train but not very reliable.
There are few beaches in Balestrate.
There is also night life in Balestrate with live music and also disco on fresh air for younger population on Friday night.
There are boats to hire in Port of Balestrate.
People are very friendly and helpful with not many tourists from abroad.

The town is just beautiful, we were there at a quiet time of year in March and whilst quiet during the day it comes alive at night! The restaurants are fantastic and the people are super friendly and accommodating! It has everything you need with you having to leave if you so wish! We travelled to all the towns in the vicinity and Balestrate is definitely the most beautiful!

Perfect vacation spot to get away from the hustle and bustle...
Perfect vacation spot to get away from the hustle and bustle .Ideally located for visiting the North coast . Great size town , not too big , not too small. You'll find food to go or mini markets nearby. And a few restaurants etc,, Or else drive 5 km to Alcamo for bigger supermarkets. Great home away from home . Hate to leave . Will be back !!!
Pretty good central location (if you are ok with loud street in the evening :-), close to shops and restaurants, nice and friendly staff ready to help, access to washing machine on the top floor and terrace. but it would be much better if owner would care to ensure cleaning black mould in the bathroom and fixing not working air conditioning. If you will be lucky to get appartment in normal condition - clean enough and working air conditioning - it is pretty ok. walking distance to the beach - not Balestrate beach mention on Booking.com.
Beautiful family run hotel in nature close to the town Balestrate and its beaches, 25 min drive from Palermo airport. The host and his family was incredibly kind and very helpful. Our late arrival was not a problem for them and early breakfast either. There is a nice restaurant with a view to the swimming pool. Rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast made of fresh local products. The property looks even better than on the photos on Booking.
Beautiful views of the bay and San Vito lo Capo.
Close to the center of Balestrate, 2 minutes away by car.
The owner has arranged a great car rental for 37 euros per day, if renting for 7 days is included in the price and airport transfer to the accommodation and back.
Room cleaning including new towels every two days.
Beautiful pool with a gradual entry into the water, ideal for children.
Very helpful staff, helpful to everyone
The welcome and kindness of Antonio, a gentle and kind man who always tries to help and look after you. The apartment..neat, airy, right in the heart of Balestrate. The balcony overlooking the main street so you can watch the passagiato and the daily life of this lovely town
All the welcoming warm people we spend time with in Balestrate.
The proximity to a beautiful bakery, a fabulous fresh fruit shop and a supermarket.
All the possible amenities can be found in the apartment, from beach mat to washing powder. Everything is meticulously clean and untensils and textiles are coordinated in blue-turquoise, even the tea-towels (if you pay attention to such trifles). You feel, that the hosts love their apartment and they also love their quests! Balestrate and apartment Paguro are an ideal combination for holidays in Sicily!
The staff were all lovely and made sure that we had and understood everything we needed. The location is right in the middle of Balestrate, so it was very easy to get around. The recommendations from all staff, including the local taxi (Milton) and all their food recommendations were perfect. The spa experience was truly lovely.
The house was located very conveniently for our family day trips to the beaches around Balestrate.
It is practically just renewed and modern equipped with everything we needed. Two AC units made the hotest days OK.
Also the terrace is very lovely.
The breakfast is served at La Piazzeta and is very delicious.
It was a very nice experience to stay in Balestrate again. Innocenzo and Grazia were very friendly. Their hospitality and the comfortable appartment with a beautiful view on the sea made our stay a perfect time. We will come back soon.

Wonderful stay at Nomade, it was the best part of our holidays in Sicily! Great B&B in a quiet, peaceful location, with a friendly atmosphere. Beautiful view of the sea and the mountains. The pool is amazing!

Nice, cozy and new apartmens. Every room has air conditioning. Awesome balcony with a view to Balestrate promenade. The owners were very welcoming, generous and friendly.
The owner Giuseppe is an excellent person he makes sure that breakfast is ready when you get up in the morning,I would raccoment casa Ruffino if you come to Balestrate
Guisepi went out of his way to help me on my quest to find relatives in Balestrate. He drove me all over town talking to people trying to help me find them.
