A 5-minute walk from Trapani Harbor, Central Gallery Rooms offers modern-style and colorful rooms with air conditioning.

Beautiful property. Front of hotel is on pedestrian street in old town, back of hotel is on the sea. Our two story suite was huge, clean and very modern. Public parking was very easy. All the staff were great, especially Roberta at the front desk and Simon in the breakfast room. I highly recommend this hotel and Trapani.

Room Of Andrea Hotel, hotel in Trapani

Set in the Trapani City Center of Trapani, Room Of Andrea is located 0.9 mi from Trapani Port and 2.1 mi from Funivia Trapani Erice.

The hotel is ina lovely old and renovated hotel with some rooms lavishly furnished and others more modern. The staff especially ? Provided us with most help we had in all of Sicily. She gave great restaurant recommendations and locales to visit. The rooms were clean and bed was comfortable and some rooms more quiet than others. We had two room: one was close to the rooftop music while the other was set apart. Loved the rooftop pool and bar and views of the city. The location was good and within walking distance to the beach and coastline. The breakfast buffet was large and fresh. I would stay here again!

FAQs about hotels in Trapani

Seasoned with Life

Kite-shaped Trapani makes an impressive sight from lofty Mount Erice, connected to the peninsula below by cable car. On a clear day, the mountain also offers views of Tunisia - one destination of ferries from Trapani Port, alongside Cagliari, Pantelleria and the offshore Egadi Islands.

Overlooking the port is the old town, where arched doorways on narrow streets open onto many cheap apartments and B&Bs on Booking.com. Shabby chic façades sit alongside historic churches, such as understated Trapani Cathedral, somewhat lost amid elegant Corso Vittorio Emanuele, where pavement cafes sit in front of pastel-coloured buildings and metal balconies.

At the tip of the peninsula is the fortress-like Tower of Ligny lighthouse, now housing the Prehistory and Sea Museum. The Colombaia Castle protects the port from an island to the south, while in the other direction the sweeping coastline passes some beachfront hotels with swimming pools.

Villa Margherita Park offers shade from the Mediterranean sun, and Triton’s Fountain graces a neighbouring square. The simple façade of the Basilica of Maria Santissima Annunziata hides the treasures within, including a statue of the Madonna of Trapani which is at the heart of the Easter ‘Misteri’ celebrations.

Between the city and Trapani-Birgi Airport, historic windmills sit beside salt pans. The Salt Museum provides details of this major industry.

Trapani is usually circumvented by tourists.

Trapani is usually circumvented by tourists. It is a pity because the old town is nice, the Egadi islands sea is so clean with a lot of variety of blue. Local cuisine is fantastic, some of the gelaterias are on the list of best icecreams in my life.

If you are taking the ferry to Favignana this is a good spot. Only had one meal here. It was at Osteria il Moro which was fabulous with a great staff. The seafood, especially cuttlefish, was out of this world. There were eight of us so we selected a la carte rather than the incredibly interesting tasting menus. If you are a foodie, do check the menus on their website. The wine list was extensive with the most famous wineries in Italy as well as new, little-known, up-and-coming wineries. Bottle prices were close to retail from 22Euros to 500Euros. This certainly deserves its Michelin rating and more.

I love Trapani and have been 10 times or so.

I love Trapani and have been 10 times or so. Flights from England are relatively cheap especially off main season. Its good that you dont need a car and Erice accessed by cable car can be cooler due to altitude and wind. Amazed to see a Norman castle here that looks so familiar but is one of the more modern buildings compared with temples etc.The nearby islands are also interesting and very accessible by ferry or hydrofoil. Food is good and even mint and basil taste like they are on steroids. I also like that few english voices are heard around town. Generally I have always found locals to be generous kind and keen to show off their culture.Lots of really small bathing sites around town.

We found the people friendly, the food great and the beaches nice. We walked up the hill to Erice, which was also unique and worth seeing. We also went on a boat tour from the port to see Levanzo and Favignana, which was great. The food was absolutely brilliant, and also inexpensive. Coffee lovers will also have no shortage of choices. Cafe fredo was my wife's favourite. Just remember to take the mosquito repellent and be ready to drink lots of bottled water!

Good but small city, you can entirely visit the old town in less than a day, the city does give you access to beautiful places like Favignana and Erice but to get there is a bit complicated. Very complex public transport system to get to those places (Erice, Castellamare, Palermo, Marsala) with a lot of different companies offering different routes, not very modern as its tough to get precise schedules through the internet or apps. The bus system of the city itself is pretty good though once you understand that you can use moovit and dropticket. A lot of terrific food options in the city but nothing is very cheap, continental prices are the norm. All in all a good city to visit for a day, a great city to stay in if you have a car and plan on visiting the surrounding area.

Trapani is only worth visiting to get to the islands otherwise I would not bother. Big industrial and port area. Other places to stay were much nicer.v We quit after a day and went to Scopello which is lovely.

Best breakfast i ever had. Amazing service, delicious traditional Italian pastries, and fresh and tasty fruit! It was a tough decision to move to another location, knowing that we were missing the breakfast and the nice accomodations. The building is just beautiful! The bathroom products (shampoo/body Gel, soap and body cream) are of great quality. Less is more and here simplicity is definitely the secret of a truly and pleasant experience :) (we decided that we are coming back before we leave Sicily!)

Although it's a little far to go to the center, the location allows you to see the sea and Erice right in front of your eyes. The kind couple Benni and Anna took us to the salt fields. Anna did a lot of research for our trip. The room is warm and relaxing. There was a mini supermarket, and the chocolate flavor at the gelato shop nearby was the best I've had in Sicily!

Beautiful building, spacious room, and perfect location. Travel cot available for our 9-month-old baby. Easy parking next to the hotel either free in some streets or charged in others. Very easy to pay your parking slot using the "Easypark" application (usable through almost the whole Sicily).
