Lots to see by bicycle or a short car drive in the local hills. Stay close to the station for easy rail journeys to Ferrara, Bologna, Padua, Venice .

It was a run down town that only catered to people wanting to swim in the spa pools in the hotels. the hotels could have been placed anywhere including a city centre - the local surroundings were very residential and un-interesting.

Montegrotto Terme is the perfect place where any body can enjoy and relax during all seasons. Very friendly natives, excellent pools, best location to easily reach most beautiful cities of Italy like Venice etc. it’s very nice to make walks and bike trips.

Loved the room - the greenish wicker furniture and the relatively large balcony made me almost feel like in the Caribbean. They did a nice remodelling job - only the carpets are left.
