The room was very large. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was good and had a lot of options. The pool was nice and clean. Great location. Close to the beach. There is a bar and restaurant on site, but we didn't go to either. We would recommend.

We had no idea what to expect and when we arrived and walked around the house and the grounds we were amazed. I could stay there forever! The decour was lovely, the grounds had a beautiful herbal fragrance from all of the flowers and herbs. The dinner was simple but well prepared. I stayed with my boyfriend in a duplex cottage where the farm workers used to live and my sister stayed in the main house. Both accommodations were beautiful. Alex, who manages the property was wonderful, friendly and helpful. The added bonus was the sweet elderly dog REX.

The property felt like being guest at someone’s home. The wonderful couple that runs it were so warm and welcoming making sure we were happy about everything. While enjoying the evening on the patio we were invited in to the kitchen to watch the next days breakfast bread being baked while chatting. The breakfast did not lack anything, it was delicious and served in the breakfast room with a view of the ocean.

It was a really nice place with a great host, which was always helpful and friendly. She was very welcoming and helped us out with any questions we had. We also ordered breakfast through the property, which you can pre-order the evening before and we’re very happy with it.

There is a problem when you arrive.
There is a problem when you arrive. There was an entrance gate with broken intercom and no one to meet us. I wasn't sure this was the main entrance. I did not understand the email sent during the afternoon describing how to find a key. I telephoned the owners number on Booking.com and was told to ring another number (which didn't work.) Luckily another guest let us in and showed us the key safe and how it worked. Without their help we would be stuck. We wanted to cut short our stay but the owners were lovely the next day and made us feel much better. It was like an episode from TV series 'The Prisoner'! It's a lovely location if you like being remote which we do.

This B&B has been opened for only five years but the place looks as if the owner had started his business . The whole place is fresh and greatly maintained. The on-site parking is a +. Our hosts were charming and ready to help. I read the reviews, 80% gave it a 5 with 20% only giving it a 1. Well, if you're looking for a remote awesome experience, its a a 5. Folks, it is somewhat rustic, windows open, no cell service, beach, animals (dogs, donkey, chickens, pigs), crazy steep twisty roads to get here kind of place. It is not Club Med, so if that's what you want...don't come here. It's more like living off the grid with your own beach where you can skinny dip and absorb the sun and sunsets and peaceful experience. We were there in mid-September, and we had the place to ourselves. If we come back, we will stay longer. Did I mention the donkey named George Clooney?!

The room had a quite a big balcony, it was clean and the bathroom was nice (althought the room would be better if there were only 3 beads instead of 4, less cramped). Convenient parking on site and 24 hour checkin (via keybox). Breakfast was a package from a bakery (sandwiches, croissants), one package per room, good quality and quantity, plus coffee made by the host ( plus a choice of water, orange juice etc). Good value for money.

There are restaurants nearby, as well. Most importantly we experienced Sicilian hospitality. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and presented us with a fantastic breakfast — and a great conversation — in the morning. The place is spotless and quiet so we were able to rest after doing a lot of driving and walking. Grazie mille, Mr. Gaetano e famiglia.
