The property itself is nice, some of the rooms are old. Ours in particular was facing a parking lot even though we spent €250+ per night. The animation team is fun for kids and they played the euro games on a big screen which was fun. The beach and beach bar is nice.

Tropea has amazing beaches, and it’s perfect if you’re a beach lover. The historic center is cute. They have a lot of restaurants. You can visit nearby Scila, take a day trip to the Aeolian Islands, or a 3 hour cruise to Capo Vaticano. La Conchiglia restaurant was very good, and if you don’t mind not staying exactly in the center, I recommend Residenze Ro.Ma. Great staff, very clean, great breakfasts

We visited Tropea in the first half of April.
We visited Tropea in the first half of April. The weather was pleasant and the city wasn´t crowded. Many of the restaurants and bars were still closed before the real season start but there were still plenty of options. Parking wasn´t very easy (and I expect to get some fines in the upcoming weeks).

I was there out of season.
I was there out of season. Many restaurants in Tropea were shut but enough. More opened at the weekend.
Public transport seems limited to the trains. Tropes is on a branch line and at best the trains are every 2 hours. There are lots of beaches to explore.
Access to the hills. Would require some research.

The historic town is mostly pedestrianised or traffic restricted, and although heavily populated by tourists it is big enough not to be overwhelmed (at least that was the case in September). There is a lot of good historic architecture from a variety of periods, and many good restaurants. The beaches are not large, but are within walking distance of the town centre, but you need to be prepared for climbing lots of steps to get to them from the town.
Lovely small hotel in a converted palazzo far enough away from main drag to be tranquil, yet centrally located in the heart of the old city. Entry is into a courtyard through a grand wooden door. Greeted warmly by Fernando, who gave us great tips on sightseeing and eating. Room was spotless, comfortable, had all amenities listed. Gorgeous bathroom. Slept soundly (double-paned windows). Generous breakfast on the lovely terrace. Excellent coffee to start the day.
Quaint and beautiful surroundings didn’t make it feel like a traditional hotel at all. This is personified by the breakfast service which is stunning. The staff were so accommodating and kind in all aspects.
It’s a fantastically quiet, clean and manicured hotel and ticks every box whoever you are and whatever you intend to do in this region of Italy.
I would recommend this to anyone. Thank you so much.
Free parking at the door, easy flat walk to beach, clean and very modern (new), excellent breakfast (best we've had on our travels), nice friendly staff, we tried to stay another night, but they were full. Good value for money. This B & B is on beach level, you have to walk up to the Historical Centre and all the good restaurants. It's beautiful up there, no parking and very expensive in comparison.
Beautiful grounds and renovated historic building. Wherever you went on the property you felt like you were in a 5 star facility. The best breakfast I’ve ever had in a hotel. What put it over the top for me was the quality attention paid to guests by the staff. They were professional, courteous and very skilled in providing a top-drawer experience for guests. A great team!
Tropea is an undiscovered jewel on the coast of Italy about 3 hours South of the Almalfi Coast and this Bed and Breakfast is a GREAT discovery as well. Beautifully appointed, comfy bed, crisp linens, modern security system, SPOTLESS, perfect location in a quiet neighborhood, easy parking, strong wifi. A great breakfast also included. LGBT friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Cristian was excellent host. The place is in very nice place, quiet and great view. Very clean also, Cristian kept everything in good shape, and was quick to help if needed. Room was great, enough space. Secure parking included. Nice pool. One of the best places we've been in Italy. Definetly will come back here when in Tropea next time.
It can be difficult to find modern acommodation in southern Italy but this one ticked all the boxes....smart TVs, mood lighting, minimalist style, big sliding glass doors, strong air conditioning. 10min walk to the center with free parking directly outside. The host was so friendly and provided gifts.
The location is fabulous, the staff is delightful. We visited 4 major cities and Tropea in Italy and this was our favorite stay. Great breakfast, great AC. Graciela and Giulia were the best hosts. Our first ever B&B stay and we loved it.
Small, quaint hotel with a beautiful property and wonderful location. The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to make certain our family was comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay.
The location was perfect… Right on the main pedestrian street, just steps from the sea. The property was clean and comfortable. While there are a number of stairs, there is an elevator. Good choice for Tropea.
An amazing find - everything was perfect. This place should be on a list of 'luxury boutique hotels'. Personal touch, immaculate, huge apartment, stunning views of the sea and great location in town.
Antonio’s friendliness & helpfulness made us feel very welcome. The room was very comfortable and the shower was the biggest & best so far in Italy with plenty of hot water.
The best location in the central area of Tropea. The staff are very kind and helpful at any time. David gave us valuable information about restaurants and places to go.
The host, staff and location were all outstanding. This is the absolute best place to stay in Tropea. Unreservedly highly recommend, Alessandro is a true class act.
