If you are visiting the Dolomite mountains, Siusi is perhaps the place to stay. The cable car facilities are in the town. This cable car will take up the mountains into an open valley where you can see the mountains all around you. You can walk down this valley a few hundred yards and take a chair lift to a higher point where your eye sight can reach peaks like Marmolada much farther away. Siusi is full of hotels and several restaurants. It is a nice little town cubbyholed in the mountains, but easy and safe to reach.

Hiking in Alpe de Suise was fantastic.
Hiking in Alpe de Suise was fantastic. Driving in Italy problematic for Americans as Italians tailgate CONSTANTLY even on narrow and curved mountain roads. Scooter drivers and motorcyclysits have no regard to traffic laws and are frankly dangerous.

Siusi si a small mountain place, where you can find everything what you want for your holiday. Cablecar, playground for kids, cafeteria, bus station, church, shop, gas station, etc. And nice surrounding everywhere...
There was very little we enjoyed about this property as it was wildly misrepresented. They recently added new rooms and it was obvious and apparent the new modern facilities were heads and shoulders above the older part of the hotel. More investment should really be put into elevating the rest of the hotel. The room was cold, sterile, zero amenities, extremely disappointing WiFi. Sadly this was the worst experience we’ve had in Europe throughout our travels over all the years. Way too much money for the stay. Little to no value. :(
Golfhotel sonne is in a great location, especially if you play golf! We chose the property due to its proximity to Alpe di suisi, which is about 15 minutes by car. We were able to visit during sunset and in the morning before 9am easily from the hotel. The room was clean with a nice balcony, the beds were very comfortable! The staff was wonderful, Helmut checked on us throughout our stay. The dinner was great as well with 5 courses and the breakfast in the morning offered a good selection. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
The view was incredible, and the hotel exceptional. The room was big, bright and comfortable, and fitting with the style of the mountains. We also really enjoyed the tour when we checked-in, seeing the cows, the cats and the bunnies. There's also an option to order breakfast, fresh bread, milk, yoghurt and pastries, which we thoroughly enjoyed, sitting on the balcony overlooking the mountain.
We booked the rooftop apartment and can’t recommend it enough. Spacious, bright, cozy, awesome design. Well equipped kitchen and a lot of storage space, comfortable bed and great bathroom. Covered parking and lift (great if you have extra baggage). The wellness area is lovely too. Staff is really nice, particularly Hilde. We had a wonderful stay at Paula and in Siusi.
Terrific hospitality and accommodations. A wonderful family-run hotel with an excellent breakfast. Marco was a wonderful host. Our room had a nook for our travel crib and jacuzzi jets in the tub. On the main floor there is an indoor pool, sauna and children’s playroom, along with the dining room and sitting room. A short walk to the seiser Aom gondola.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the views are breathtaking. It is central to a lot of the places we wanted to see in the Dolomites. The women in the front desk were wonderful as was the staff serving for breakfast and dinner. The food was also wonderful. And they provided our infant with a seat at the table which was really appreciated.
This hotel is wonderful for anyone wanting peace and quiet. The gardens are so peaceful and you can sit anywhere you want and just enjoy the ambience. The owner - Petra - works hard to make you welcome and we were very impressed by everything. The staff were very friendly. There was a concert in the garden one evening, and it was great
The view from this property alone is stunning. It’s so close to Alpe di Siusi (a.k.a. Seiser Alm). The property is beautiful and you can see the quality in the furniture/woodwork in the rooms with the beds and closets and upholstered chairs/benches. We loved the continental breakfast that was plentiful and offered a juicer.
Apartment was very good accommodation inside a pretty village. It is well located with Alpe di Siusi close by. There are a few bars in the village and there is possibility to buy provisions from the supermarket a few mins walk away.
It is 5 mins drive to Castelrotto and was very convenient for us for walks etc.
The most beautiful property we’ve stayed at in Siusi….the place was exceptionally clean…the views from our place was breathtakingly stunning….the service was spot on …Mr. Franz and his assistant Ms. Adriana was so warm, friendly and helpful…they did everything possible to make our stay comfortable
Really friendly hosts and a perfect location for hiking. You can walk in 5-10 min to the Seiser Alm Bahn which takes you up to the Alpe the Siusi for some beautifull views and hiking trails, both easy and more challenging trails are available in the area! Also great view from the balcony!
The location, host, and room were spectacular. We were given a bus pass to use if we'd like and that was super nice. The cable car up to Seiser Alm is just a few minutes drive with the cute town of Castelrotto just down the other way a bit, making it an ideal location.
Excellent location, very quiet, comfortable beds. Helmut and staff are amazing! they were very accommodating. Breakfast and dinners were outstanding! Views of Seiser Alm from hotel is unbelievable!
The Ritterhof is an absolute gem for visits to the Dolomites. The staff was exceptional and thoughtful. The gourmet meals were astonishing. Location was in the heart of the mountain area.
The place is in the middle of nature, a few minutes away from the center of siusi , and the views of the rooms and the swimming pool are wonderful , Also the breakfast was very good
This property is a real gem set in the Dolomites with a great view of the Sciliar!
Very nice owner and little Bruno 🐶 has made our arrival even better :) highly recommend!
