It's delightful, like stepping back in time, not yet totally overrun by tourism, the main port is the only real tourist area ( many day trippers only see this) The lack of shops everywhere would hopefully put off a lot of people likewise the very steep narrow streets and the narrow black beaches with no Lido facilities to speak of.

Procida is a lovely small island. You can do everything by bike or walking.. It has a couple of small beaches you can visit and rent a sunbed. The sunsets on terra murata are the reason I keep coming back.. Those are the best sunsets I have ever seen... and enjoying it with an aperol spritz make it 10 out of 10. You have different restaurants in the harbors but this isn't a party island. If you want a reset and just have some chill moments Procida is your island... If your looking for parties and Jetset I would recommend Capri

Loved Procida and would definitely like to come back. We stayed three nights, would have liked to stay longer. In May there were not many tourists which made for a perfect visit. It is easy to get around, you can walk the whole island or take the bus. Visited the Il Postino beach, highly recommend for a quite beach day.

Procida has not been over run by masses of tourists like Capri and Amalfi. The big cruise lines don’t stop here so there aren’t 5000 people at a time seeing the same sights. Beautiful vistas, easily accessed by ferry from Napoli. The locals eat at the local bars/restaurants so the prices are not high. We stayed 2 nights as we were going but 3 would have been better.

Lovely Island with great views and lovely historic and traditional streets. Great relaxing mix to explore. friendly and helpful locals, happy feel to the place overall. Good for both self catering and to eat out, local food was enjoyable and attentive service in most places.

The hosts were very helpful, accommodating and generous. Communications were prompt and easy, especially since they also spoke English. Il Sonnino was located directly across the street from the walkway to "Il Postino Beach", my reason for coming to Procida!

They were there to greet us at the port and take us to the apartment. It was perfectly clean and appointed. They had a map for us to navigate Procida, and gave us some tips about the area and some places they thought we might like to visit while we were there. Marco and Columba are wonderful hosts and a special mention to Andras who very kind and attentive. The place was cool, relaxed and perfect for a few days in Procida. There are great restaurants nearby and an easy walk into the small port. Lovely sun beds on the grass and a good pool. Steps down to the beach which makes it very private. The bar is a popular aperitivo place too. Highly recommend.

The room was amazing in size, style and cleanliness. Rocco is a great, easygoing host. The BnB has a beautiful hotel next to it which is part of Rocco’s properties plus there are a tennis court and a football pitch. The view from our room was just great, I can only imagine what it looks like from the suites above our double room.
