The hotel was nice and clean with the pool, which the staff however did not allow us to use after 6pm. The hotel seems to be an "island" in the middle of a very typical smashed and neglected southern Italian village.

During our South Italy roadtrip we stayed at various places and that one was definitely our favorite! If we've found it earlier, we'd definitely have spent those 2 weeks in it.
While the house is independent, the owners live next door which is very convenient. Everything was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfy. There was also private heating for the chilly nights and warm blankets (we visited in November).
The most convenient thing ever was that we were able to park our car just at the front door, which made it really easy to load/unload our luggage. Enclosed and safe parking place in the yard. Strategic location for exploring Salento while having peaceful nights in a quiet and calm area.
We would definitely return during summer time, as this place matches 100% our idea of a comfortable accommodation. Thank you!

Paolo is such an amazing host! He greeted us with some delicious pastries, and immediately made us feel comfortable. His home was very comfortable and had everything we needed.
