This Riad is well located in the heart of Medina, it’s clean and well managed. I really enjoyed my time reading a book in the terrace drinking mint tea kindly offered by Mr. Lofti who’s managing the property, came to pick me up at the entrance of Bab tut on a day I arrived and also went out of his way to catch the taxi on a day I left for Chefchaouen all because I was a little unfamiliar and nervous around taxi systems here. As a solo traveler, I felt very comfortable, welcomed and well cared for. Thank you to the team at Riad Soul of Tetouan.

A prosperous town with lots of people living their lives out on the streets. The Medina is not as pretty as the Fes Medina but felt more relevant to the daily needs of Moroccans and much less crowded. Delicious and inexpensive pastries available everywhere!

Tetouan is one of (if not the most) beautiful city in Morocco. The people there were amongst the friendliest I have encountered in Morocco in the two trips that I have been there. Many foreigners go to stay at the nearby beach properties, and miss out on the jewel that is Tetouan.

It's a strange city.
It's a strange city. We stayed in it for four days and it seemed very long to me.
Very interesting old medina, but 2 days to see the city is enough.
I found there was almost no place to eat in the city - we had to go to Martil for a fish restaurant.

The place is very amazing and i wish i had more days to stay here. I got a chance to visit another city an hour away called Chefchouane (The Blue City) its another small city not far from Tetouan and i will definately recommend a visit there, its has amazing falls and friendly markets and. All in all Tetouan has alot to offer and if you ever get a chance to spend time in the city centre of Tetouan please i will advice to go to a small coffe shop called AMAZING COFFEE, they make coffee to die for and the staff and owner are just very friendly and great people. Generally i will sum up by saying i will be back here cos its a really good place.

Excellent value for money for food. people very friendly but be prepared to contend with a lot of people insisting on offering to bring you on tours of Medina etc, this was the only annoying thing I found on the trip but very hard to avoid. Very cheap restaurant called "La Union" in Teteoun, taxi service is excellent and cheap.

It was definitely better than expected!
It was definitely better than expected! I was glad I came, because it is small enough for getting easily around but big enough so there is something to see. The airport is very close to the centre and to the beach, so I walked to the centre and followed the main avenue, it was beautiful also in the evening and the Medina is enormous and very genuine! I think Tetouan is underrated in terms of Moroccan sights, then again the weather took a turn for the cold mid-November, which was a bit unexpected, so I did not go to the beach, it was too chilly
Beautiful riad in the Medina. So peaceful with numerous places to sit, relax and enjoy the views and atmosphere. The manager, Mr.Lofli was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about Tetouan. He was so kind in answering all of my questions and was so generous with his time, even taking me for a quick tour to the Kasbah and tannery before my flight on my last morning in Morocco. I hope I can one day return and stay again in this beautiful riad next time I visit Tetouan,
Very nicely styled and clean Riad in the city center of the old town (Medina) of the city. We had a family suite for 4 persons which was huge and very nicely decorated. The Riad has a fantastic authentic style and is very well-maintained. The owners and the service staff are very friendly. A good breakfast with fresh juices is served in the courtyard and comes typically for Riads in Morocco, not as a buffet but pre-arranged.
The location is good, from CTM station easily walk to , crossing the park by using stairs will short your trip(google map doesn’t know). The host is very nice, and he played piano in the evening. The breakfast is Morocco standard with one boiled egg. The riad is well decorated inside and outside.
the property is great, best location in the city close the main avenue and also to main places in Tetouan. house is super clean and well furnished and has all that you need. I liked the design and details in the house, made us feel really good.
it exceeded my expectations honestly
Located right in the Medina of Tetouan this little gem was a delight to stay. The interior is a nice mix of traditional Moroccan architecture and modern design.
The rooftop is relaxing, and the staff goes above and beyond to help you with everything you need. Highly recommended.
Very friendly staff, beautiful building, and great location. They were also small dog friendly
Just a general comment. This is not a modern hotel with modern insulation. Noise travels in these old buildings. If that bothers you, you probably shouldn't stay in old town.
This was my second time staying here! I recommend it because the staff are all really nice, the surroundings up in the hill is beautiful, the place is super clean and they offer a good breakfast! I will come back to this place whenever i’m in Tetouan.
Riad Las Mil y Una Noches is located in the medina of Tetouan. “Las Mil y Una Noches” is Spanish for “1001 Nights”. The rooms in the riad are named after characters from 1001 Nights. We stayed in the Zumurrud room. Breakfast was excellent.
The staff were the bests hosts I've had. Hanae and Asha were so kind, attentive and welcoming. This riad offers genuine hospitality. Our bed was really comfortable and our room so quiet. It is my favourite stay in Morocco.
The style was lovely
- the rooftop was incredible, so comfy
- staff were super friendly
- good location in the Medina
- good wifi
- definitely have dinner here one night, the food was some of the tastiest in Morocco!
The receptionists are very helpful and welcoming and gave me two rooms to choose from, the hotel location is near by the markets, restaurants and cafés
The housekeeping is prompt and attentively tidy and neat.
We really enjoyed our stay, the room is spacious and so clean. The hosts are very nice and welcoming. The riad is in the heart of Tetouan near the royal palace. Also, the breakfast on the rooftop is awesome!
Very clean and modern hotel, good restaurant. Location near the city center and has plenty of parking. I wish we had a room with the mountains view, ours was facing an empty hill.
I did not stay at this hotel because of a booking issue, and so have no comment. They did find us a room in another hotel which turned out to be quite nice. Thanks for that!
The staff were super nice. It was a great experience on my first day in Morocco. It was my first time taking a bus and the hostel staff even took me directly to the station!
It was clean, inviting, conveniently located, and everything worked! Having traveled around Morocco for several years, it was refreshing to stay in a new and modern hostel.
This stay was in the same house I stayed in on arrival to Morocco. It was again very comfortable in a great location, Again, Mood and his family were perfect hosts.
