We had a wonderful stay at Brewmaster Residence in Malta. The residence is located at Pembroke, 200 meters near the bus terminus, but not close to the beach. There are restaurants nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful(only in English language (or Spanish) and only on Whatsapp), and the apartments are clean and spacious. We had a one-bedroom apartment, which was perfect for the two of us. The apartment had a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a balcony, and a bedroom with a little bathroom. The balcony was a great place to relax and enjoy the views of the sports ground.
We were very impressed with the quality of the food nearby the residence's restaurant (Essentially Chinese's restaurants).
We would highly recommend Brewmaster Residence to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Malta. It is the perfect place for a relaxing family holiday, and the price is very low.

Room was comfortable but could do with some draws/additional clothes storage. There were a couple of shelves and hanging space. Not really enough for a one week stay. Room cleaning was hit and miss, some days they didn't arrive until late afternoon when we were having a siesta so some days we told them not to bother. No drama though. We were on the 6th floor with a sea view. The road is a little noisy but worth it for the view. Could sit there all day watching the world go by. Once the patio doors were closed you couldn't hear the road. Location was good for the ferry to Valletta. Bus stop right outside the hotel which we used a few times. Easy to get around. Breakfast was good, busy but always managed to get a clean table. Staff lovely.

It is a great location to travel from.
We visited Marsaxlokk, Valletta and Mdina, on the other days we discovered different beaches. We found tourguides in Valletta and Mdina, this was the best way to learn about the history of Malta and the city.
My favourite beach was at Ghadira Bay, Mellieha Beach Bay - really shallow water but extemely clean.
Second favourite beach was the Golden beach, ideal for watching the sunset.
We did a day trip to Gozo and the Blue lagoon by boat- that was not the best organised program, the waiting times were too long and not enough time to enjoy the program.
