Not too far a drive from the main JB area. Our second time booking this place as we liked one of the food options just nearby the hotel. Room was clean and tidy with the basic amenities, and a large open shelf to place our belongings. Located near a big supermarket just 5 minutes walk away, and a small convenience store just across the street. Appreciated the hospitality as we were quickly checked in almost close to midnight, and the late check out time of 12pm.

Not just a transit point anymore, Johor has recently boosted its tourist attractions resulting in the building of 2 new theme parks, Legoland Malaysia and Puteri Harbour Family Theme Park. It is definitely a fantastic getaway from the hustle of Singapore! The local food has always enticed us. We love eating at the Nasi Kandar Hijrah restaurant. A family trip to Johor Bahru is an activity that we look forward to!

I like visiting Johor Bahru for shopping, massages, movies and eating. Aeon shopping center and Thai Odyssey Massage are great. There are other fun activities in the area with Lego Land and golf. Getting around is easy with your own car. Grab transport service is also available. I would not stay here as a commute to Singapore activities though. The immigration process can be unpredictable with timing. We spent nearly 4 hours in traffic jam from Singapore to Johor Bahru. Then 1 hour Johor Bahru to Singapore.

Went in for the Ramadan vibes.
Went in for the Ramadan vibes. Highly recommend to hire your own personal driver esp those with kids or big families. It’s congested during this season so save the trouble of getting stuck and waste time find parking lot.
Met a very extreme rude indrive driver (Wong, gray myvi, plate number i shall not say) and I genuinely didn’t know the traffic law that baby is included in the headcount and we can’t book normal car for 3 adult with 2 small toddlers, no baggage. Normally we did that, drivers never reject or say anything. He think we act stupid and kept scolding us. I was so traumatised and luckily we manage to get a personal driver and he drove us around Msia till our last day and up till Singapore.

Can improve the bus transport with connectivities to...
Can improve the bus transport with connectivities to different locations. for example, you take a bus to terbau Aeon but from there you cannot go to another location say Bukit Indah. You need to take the same bus back to bus terminal to take another bus to the said destination. The train experience on boarding takes too long for 1 minute ride. Why do you need 1 hour interval to do a minute job? It should be able to ply every 15 minutes instead of 1 hour and more. No wonder you cannot ferry large number of commuters in a day, month and year. With high frequency of trains, you don't need to book tickets, it should be like taking a Mrt Tape in and tape out instead of wasting time checking ticket.
Cleanliness. Huge plus. Went to other hotel's lobby toilet, and compared to grand paragorn's lobby toilet, a huge world of difference.
Location is good. Near KSL mall , also v near to JB sentral. Food venues are nearby too.
Room was a beauty. Love the decor of the room. The bed was super super comfy. Asked for extra pillows and they gave me after a few minutes!
Theres a gym here, altho the equipments dont amount to much but I could perform my needed exercises there.
Breakfast was marvelous here. Love the ample menu of the buffet !

I took a very large room bathroom inside, there is a toothbrush , shampoo, refrigerator, there is aircond, fan ,hotel close to bus station, restaurant ,grocery store, hotel staff came to pick me up at the bus station because i don't know the location, best hotel staff service and friendly
The hotel front desk staff were tremendous, the executive lounge is terrific for working and the staff so very helpful, the rooms are a great size and are very clean, the bed was super comfy. Access to downtown area is but a walk and Danga Bay is a 10 min Grab ride.
Location is best but parking was a nightmare. The ramps up the carpark is super narrow. Not for the faint hearted. Hotel carpark shares with Komtar mall. Parking for guests is all the way up to 7th storey. Recommended for those who don't drive in.
The location is perfect for those that like the city as it’s in the middle of the town. Furthermore for those that is planing to visit Singapore but will be staying the night in Johor this is an ideal hotel as the border is only 1-2 KM away.
Everything from room to food...so comfortable..spacious...love the room lighting as well...cozy..oooh I enjoy listening to the soothing music provided by the hotel on the television..I sleep with the music on..so peaceful.
Very well equipped for a budget priced hotel. Had fridge, safe, iron and board, plus slippers in each room. Booked 3 rooms and they were large and clean enough. Ample parking in front of hotel.
I was told that its a 2 star hotel but overall it feels like 4 star hotel. The room and toilet is spacious, bed is clean & comfy, the toilet also very clean. The staff is friendly & helpful.
