Not too far a drive from the main JB area. Our second time booking this place as we liked one of the food options just nearby the hotel. Room was clean and tidy with the basic amenities, and a large open shelf to place our belongings. Located near a big supermarket just 5 minutes walk away, and a small convenience store just across the street. Appreciated the hospitality as we were quickly checked in almost close to midnight, and the late check out time of 12pm.

The 2nd largest city in Malaysia, Johor Bahru is busy establishing its own identity separate from the capital of Kuala Lumpur. After years of existing as an important industrial hub and gateway to Singapore, new building developments and cheap shopping are attracting international tourists to Eurasia’s southernmost city.
Johor Bahru, sometimes shortened to JB, has a varied assortment of religious and royal buildings within its centre. The Istana Besar (Great Palace) overlooks the Straits of Johor, Sultan Abu Bakar State Mosque reveals old colonial influences with its Victorian architecture, and there is the Hindu glass temple, Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman.
Not just a transit point anymore, Johor has recently boosted its tourist attractions resulting in the building of 2 new theme parks, Legoland Malaysia and Puteri Harbour Family Theme Park. Many Singaporeans make the journey across the Johor-Singapore Causeway to take advantage of these new facilities and shop at malls like the City Square Shopping Complex.
Senai International Airport services domestic tourism and some international flights. Booking.com has a wide range of hotels to help you plan for that city trip, family holiday or business meeting.

A little away fom JB town centre but with a car & apt next to Paradigm Mall, it was a good experience. We went to nearby Sutera Mall where locals frequent, drove to Austin Hills, Mid Valley Southkey, KSL Mall.

I like visiting Johor Bahru for shopping, massages, movies and eating. Aeon shopping center and Thai Odyssey Massage are great. There are other fun activities in the area with Lego Land and golf. Getting around is easy with your own car. Grab transport service is also available. I would not stay here as a commute to Singapore activities though. The immigration process can be unpredictable with timing. We spent nearly 4 hours in traffic jam from Singapore to Johor Bahru. Then 1 hour Johor Bahru to Singapore.

Went in for the Ramadan vibes.
Went in for the Ramadan vibes. Highly recommend to hire your own personal driver esp those with kids or big families. It’s congested during this season so save the trouble of getting stuck and waste time find parking lot.
Met a very extreme rude indrive driver (Wong, gray myvi, plate number i shall not say) and I genuinely didn’t know the traffic law that baby is included in the headcount and we can’t book normal car for 3 adult with 2 small toddlers, no baggage. Normally we did that, drivers never reject or say anything. He think we act stupid and kept scolding us. I was so traumatised and luckily we manage to get a personal driver and he drove us around Msia till our last day and up till Singapore.

Can improve the bus transport with connectivities to...
Can improve the bus transport with connectivities to different locations. for example, you take a bus to terbau Aeon but from there you cannot go to another location say Bukit Indah. You need to take the same bus back to bus terminal to take another bus to the said destination. The train experience on boarding takes too long for 1 minute ride. Why do you need 1 hour interval to do a minute job? It should be able to ply every 15 minutes instead of 1 hour and more. No wonder you cannot ferry large number of commuters in a day, month and year. With high frequency of trains, you don't need to book tickets, it should be like taking a Mrt Tape in and tape out instead of wasting time checking ticket.

There are a lot of interesting places there such as Legoland and beaches. If you stay in the city centre you can go the Stulang Laut to have seafood there. It is easy to get around there but avoid in the morning and evening when the workers go to work and return home.
Cleanliness, no funny smells, rooms were 5 star worthy, staffs were well trains and always seeing a smile on them makes guests feel extremely welcomed.
Breakfast was great, fresh orange juice machine and coffee was my highlight, was expecting yogurt to go with the fresh fruits but there wasn't any. Choices of food were adequate.
It's a hotel that is definitely a better stay compared to options in Bukit Indah or KSL besides the attached Mall is the best Mall in the west side of JB., definitely much better than Aeon Bukit Indah.
We checking in the hotel around 8pm, the room allready clean by the staff however we decide to upgrade our room due its located far behind and the path is a little bit scary i guess. The new room seems comfy and we sleep very well Parking was worth for your money if you cross the border ,preety much parking and its free for guest just need to validate before clock out. Other else location is superb, those staying in budget , why not?
I use this hotel frequently when doing Audax rides in Malaysia. They have always been very accommodating in allowing me to take my bike to the room as I need to check it over and prepare it for the ride. Staff are always super friendly and respectful. Its perfectly located near to the border crossing to Singapore but not in a way that traffic would ever bother you.
I took a very large room bathroom inside, there is a toothbrush , shampoo, refrigerator, there is aircond, fan ,hotel close to bus station, restaurant ,grocery store, hotel staff came to pick me up at the bus station because i don't know the location, best hotel staff service and friendly
The room is very close to 4 stars standard. Rooms are spaciois, clean and with great aroma. It is on par with renowned hotels even though it is 3 stars. It is beyond my expectation and price that i have paid for. Dont be deceived by its dodgy building, parking space, and lobby.
Friendly reception. Location near custom and traffic to hotel is not affected by the main road jam at train station/city square. The staff even contacted me about an item we left behind after checkout and we didnt even realised it. Room is as shown in the advertised photo.
Very beautiful view, able to see sunrise from all rooms and balcony. The place is well kept and clean. Walking distance to RF Mall, as well as numerous amenities near City Square. Also location easy for Grab drivers to pickup.
Host is great, very friendly and helpful. :)
very clean hotel with fresh smell. the rooms are large and clean. the toilets are dry and don't have a wet moldy smell like some other budget hotels in the Mount Austin area. Location is good and close to most of the restaurants. ample parking in front of hotel
The breakfast was too good with local delights and we had enjoyed the variety of different dishes. Especially the roti prata with ikan sambal the best Combo. The location wise is not too bad. There are plenty of amenities and spa outside the hotel.
Location is conveniently near City Square and Jalan Wong Ah Fook. Plenty of food options nearby, including the Meldrum Street night hawker street. Room is basic but good value for the price paid. Hotel is generally clean and quiet.
The room was spacious & clean - best of all, the hotel was centrally located which made it so convenient to go to the nearby malls like City Square & Komtar, & also to get a car to other parts of JB. Overall, a very pleasant stay!
the best thing about this hotel is it’s location to the custom. it’s walking distance to many hipster cafes and a grab away to most of the happenings in town!
Nice hotel just across the border of Singapore. We stayed here in transit on the way from Singapore to northern Malaysia and was good for the one night.
