The host welcomed us very friendly. The bedding was very neat and tidy. However the TV did not work. The bathroom is very outdated. There is no towel rails or any table to accommodate your toiletries.
Shower warm water tap did not work properly. No shower door, only a plastic skirting. The shower definitely needs an upgrade as accordingly to the visits register since 2021 this is noted by every visitor. It seems to me that nothing is done about it.
I received an SMS stated that the host will refund us for the inconvenience, but this far nothing happened.
In conclusion, I slept twice at Urban Life, the first and the last.
The outside of the unit was very untidy with the grass more than 10cm in hight.

Entering from South Africa through Nakop into Namibie...
Entering from South Africa through Nakop into Namibie Keetmanshoop is the first big town with a Spar and businesses worthwhile. It is your port to the rest of Namibie. I stopped at the bean tree inside Spar to buy filter coffee and other items. There is several churches around. Asking the locals will get you around in Keetmanshoop. The only reason why I will go via Keetmanshoop is because of Luderitz, the most beautiful place in Namibie. Going Windhoek is shorter through Botswana.

Keetmanshoop is a small town, with few shops and petro-station, nothing more, but importand is what is around town not what is inside. Around 25 km away from town you can visit forest with characteristic trees. Keetmanshoop is a prefect place to start visiting Fish River Canyon also.

Basically a pleasant City, but soon one realizes that Jobs are missing here. More loitering than usual in Namibia. They have nice old houses from the German colonial period in town eg the Kaiserliches Postamt.
Visit of Quivertree Forest (16 Km to the North East) and Giant`s Playground is a must (both on private land - entrance fee). The Brukkaros crater, some 130 Km northwest of the City, is geologically a worthwile and nice to hike.
Try the Amarula cake at the decoration and cafe shop opposite Shoprite market!
