Such a charming hotel! The staff were so helpful. The guy at reception helped me sort through my onward journey and booked a taxi for me well in advance, so I could leave in a timely manner. The hotel is in a nice location in the main square. There are good breakfast options— some hearty options, along with some lighter ones.

I was drawn by the reviews from other travellers and decided to stay here. I am so glad I did! Max and Martha are the best hosts I’ve come across so far in Central America. They are so helpful and want to make sure their guests enjoy staying in their place. We have conversations over breakfasts and other meal times. I also had conversations with other travellers who were staying there. The room is spacious, has the facilities as shown on the photos. It is basic but I have all I need. Considering the amount I paid, it’s more than a great value! Thank you Martha and Max! See you again in a few days.

Had a good stay at Murph's surf shack. No complaints, the owners are great and very accomodating. Nice little spot to rest up after Ometepe.
