Beautiful hotel in an art nouveau building. The room was Scandi modern and seemed brand new, and the common areas and breakfast room were beautiful. The heated bathroom floor, including in the shower, was heavenly, and I imagine it's even nicer in winter. Excellent location in the middle of town and very close to the spectacular Aksla viewpoint.

This is a beautiful hotel and the breakfast is outstanding. The staff are great and sitting by the fire in the main lobby is a real treat. You will not be disappointed with this hotel. It has a sauna and fjord plunge area. The hotel feels so comfortable and warm.

The position is great if you want to stay close to the...
The position is great if you want to stay close to the airport and walk around. You can catch a bus to/from the airport and to/from main town, you can also walk up to the hill, to the ferry and on the bridge. In the right season, you can also hire a bike. The room has everything that you might need, considering that you are planning to pass your day out. The supermarket and the restaurant are very handy as well.AAnonymous - 6.0Scored 6.0

In general it was a good stay. Easy to find the place and get keys. The natural view around the residence was very beautiful. The pictures on the booking page about access to the beach are not the same on site. There was no access to the beach. Need litle bit more concentration on higienic standards. Thank You It was naice place for family.

Beware of the fine print when booking your room for the low...
Beware of the fine print when booking your room for the low discount price at Alesund Airport Hotel. Instead of a room in the actual hotel building, our room was in a little structure across the parking lot called the Mini Hotel. Our room was tiny and cramped with no place to put our luggage except the beds or the floor. I was unable to upgrade to a regular room so not happy with the checkin staff. One last thing, the Hotel is actually 10 minutes or several Kilometers from the airport.charles - 10Scored 10

Ytterland is one of the islands away from ålesund. There are more islands near Ytterland. If you want to have relax out form the city center, this is a nice place (take in consideration that you depen on the bus if you don't have a car) The islands including Ytterland are really beautiful. I highly recommend a trip through the islands. :D

Perfect location between airport and town easily accessible by excellent bus service which has a stop at the door of the hotel. The hotels in the town have a good location but can be very expensive expect to pay double or triple the price. The bus into town takes 10 mins. Nothing special about the room really but that’s the amazing thing: for such a low price it was clean and just fine. I was very pleasantly surprised. Attached to hotel is restaurant with very cheap beer and (for Norway) cheap food.

However, it is located on an island, which is very quiet, and you can take a small drive nearby to feel the north wind and see the North Atlantic Ocean. You have a public restaurant, and they offer free coffee in a small living room on the hotel floor, which is nice. It is not a fancy hotel, it is a simple one, but works well.
