Amazing layout and so calm, such a nice hideaway. it seemed like the middle lf nowhere but had a lot to offer. Plenty of room choices helped too.

This was the most beautiful room and absolutely stunning location of our entire trip. The room was huge and luxurious, the bed was soft and fluffy, the bathroom large and elegant. It was July, so we didn't need the fireplace, but we did open our patio door and welcome in the breeze and the mountain air. Breakfast was also fantastic. We were sad to leave after only one night.

We stayed there for 5 nights and it's a good apartment to stay in. It's full of necessary facilities and a very convenient bonus of washing machine. It's quite spacious. The location was quite convenient for us as we came by car and we've chosen this location due to it being in between two major areas we wanted to visit. The host was kind to meet us and show the apartment and the location of keys. Over all a comfortable and convenient place for a longer stay (except the bunk bed)

We stayed at Billingen Guesthouse on June 30 after a long day hiking a glacier and driving the scenic Route 55. By the time we arrived, it was already 11 p.m., but the host was still waiting for us and warmly helped us carry our luggage upstairs—something we truly appreciated after such a long day. The guesthouse is located right on top of a powerful waterfall—the view is absolutely stunning, and the sound of the rushing water at night was both calming and unforgettable. I slept so well with nature’s lullaby in the background. The breakfast the next morning was delicious and authentically Norwegian—simple, hearty, and just right. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night, but we later learned that there are many beautiful hiking trails and sights in the area. Next time I come to Norway, I’ll definitely return to this wonderful place and stay longer. Highly recommended for nature lovers!

Loved being near the rushing water and hikes. The staff were really friendly, some of which were interns. Spoke with the owner (of 3yrs) and they were excited about transforming this hotel into a cozy, boutique property. We ate dinner at the restaurant and would have loved a salad option, however, it was pretty good. We really enjoyed breakfast!
