Salalah was a great place to visit. Jabal Samhan View point (During early morning time) and Marneef Cave/Blow Holes (During Evening time) are two must places to vist other than the beautiful beaches there. Mid of June was hot. July and August would be the best time to visit I guess. Staying around City Center will be beneficial for food lovers. Traffic was smooth and easy to go around. It was a long road trip from Dubai to Salalah and back. Better to have our own food during road trip. Try to refill the petrol once the fuel tank gets to 50% or less. People are very kind. We stopped on the road two times due to a confusion on the route. Both times, few locals helped us and took us to the correct route. Doctor visit at Hospital was easy and affordable.

The all inclusive option was great for people who want to take most of their meals at the resort. The resort is not close to the center of the town. The shuttle bus times to the beach were limited The resort supplied no wash cloths.

Salalh is not ready to tourists. a very poor area along the coast, dirty apartments, the food is mostly street food. locals are often not friendly and can be aggressive. Taxi drivers at the airport are generally trash. The local nature is beautiful, but if there is a car. you can't swim from June to October, it's terrible. There are no promenades, parks for walking. There is nothing to see and very expensive prices. In general, I do not recommend it. In my list of countries, this country is in last place.
We were four family members on a weekend trip to Salalah for the first time to celebrate a birthday. Albaleed Resort was selected for its location, reputation, and services. Albaleed resort staff are exceptional. From ensuring our three deluxe rooms were adjacent as requested to the interactions with all staff throughout the hotel, I ascertain they were accommodating, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure comfort. The resort beach front location is a plus and the rooms were excellent. Breakfast buffet and service was exceptional.
Courteous Staff - Especially Mr Waleed, who took utmost care of the Great Customer Experience and Hospitality at its Best. Being a Vegetarian, Breakfast options were provided on request. Cleanliness, Hygiene, Courteous Staff including Ihab from Front Office, Restaurant Staff & Cleaning Staff who were always having a Smile and Welcoming. Totally worth staying at Salalah International Hotel and will be staying again during my next visit for sure 😊
They did everything for us to feel like at home and welcome. Thank you for organizing amazing birthday for Mustafa, it was better than expected. I loved the swimming pool and the lazy river 🤗 Thank you guys because you made my stay memorable in Oman, it was first time for me coming there and it was enjoyable. The apartmant we've got it was so spacious and staff was so professional with the requests I had :)
I stayed for one night and they allowed me to check out late at 6 pm without any increase in rent
The apartment is clean, the location is excellent, and it is close to a hypermarket and restaurants. The staff are very helpful and the owner, Abu Haitham, is a nice and friendly person. the rest of the staff are very good too. I will stay in these apartments when I visit Salalah.
The location was great. It's in the heart of Salalah so going around was easier. The owner was very accommodating. All of our requests were attended to immediately. The apartment we rented was huge! It could definitely fit more than 3 adults and 2 kids which was our group. The place was also quiet so it was a wonderful place to relax and unwind.
I liked the friendliness of the staff, they were very helpful at all times. I would call the reception for assistance and immediately get what I needed. The front desk manager Darshana helped us out by giving some excellent tourist spots in Salalah with the locations and details. Definitely recommend this hotel as a getaway for the holidays.
The place is perfect! A long (and a little bit shallow) pool is a couple of minutes away; the beach is accessible through the Rotana grounds in 10-15 minutes of a pleasant walk.
Inside the unit everything is new and works perfectly.
Hassan, who manages this property, is very efficient and helpful - a real Omani.
We booked a pool view chalet, everything was superb be it staff food cleanliness etc, except.our trip was ruined by the flies in the chalet and breakfast area which were so so so annoying.. they should have atleast kept a mosquito killer machine in every roomand the dining area..
We had initially booked a delux room, but when we checked-in to our surprise they had upgraded us to a garden pool villa !!! It’s was unbelievable we were soo excited!! Everything in the hotel is exceptional from the rooms to the service to the hotel staff …absolutely perfect !!
Very bad breakfast, the place was below expectations compared to price

Practical shopping centre under the hotel.
Excellent room service and clean place. Also plenty of car parking space. Special thanks to Mr. Ahmed from front desk, he is always ready to help guests. There are nearly 7-8 coffee shops and kids play zone near to this hotel.
We were lucky to be welcomed and greeted by Mr Suhail the hotel manager at the time of our check in and made our stay exceptional. Would come here again anytime I visit Salalah. Thank you Bristol Hotel 🙏👍 😊
