Very nice city in Poland. Probably not enough popular, but very "democratic" -- you can find whatever you like there ! It's rich of history and nice for walking, visiting different places, and enjoy large variety of local food !

Lodz is not a very touristic city, it is not one of the most...
Lodz is not a very touristic city, it is not one of the most beautiful cities of Poland, as it is very industrial and new, but for a short weekend is ok. Night life is very nice and I recommend checking Manufaktura, the bars and the clubs. Is also a place with an important part of Polish history, if you are interested in 20th European century history, I recommend going to the Radegast station, as is a part of Polish history that is sometimes forgotten in this city.

Lodz Museum, Manufactura Shopping complex and Piotrkowska...
Lodz Museum, Manufactura Shopping complex and Piotrkowska Street were highlights. On 6th January they celebrate a procession of the Three Kings but dress warmly for snow conditions and wear appropriate footwear as the roads and paths are icy and slippery.
Lavender restaurant near the Manufactura precinct provided great meals.
Most cafes provide excellent coffee, tea and cakes.
Travel by trams is very handy and taxis are quite inexpensive and very reliable.
Accommodation close to the central part of Lodz is recommended. We stayed about 2 km from the central part of Lodz and found it too far to walk. It is a good thing that Taxis are inexpensive and reliable. A visit to a restaurant for Pierogi is a must.

I went for business trip. Not a place i would visit.
I went for business trip. Not a place i would visit. Easy to move around. Overall i experienced difficulties with language (people do not speak english!) and even signs or instructions in core services (main train stations) are not well sturctured.
New premises, everything very clean. So nice and polite staff, waited for our late arrival. In the morning was surprise- very nice message in Latvian language with coffee and pancakes for breakfast, despite that breakfast is not included in price. Hotel has large private and secure parking place. Location is near 10-15 minutes from A1 Poland highway. Hotel has separate equipped kitchen, in which you can have tea, coffee, make your meals, and usually some welcome sweets and cakes available for guests.
If you're a film buff, this is the place to stay in Lodz (the film capital of Poland). Each room is decorated in the style of a Polish or Hollywood classic, film posters line the staircases, there's a screening room for hotel guests and you can even grab some popcorn at the reception. The whole concept of a cinema residence is really nicely executed. Plus it is located right on Piotrkowska, the most exciting street in the city (or perhaps even whole Poland).
For those who want a little more space than in a hotel in Lodz and still want to stay centrally, the Cotton House is ideal. Located just a few steps to Ulica Piotrkowska directly across from a large park, our apartment was very spacious and furnished brand new. What was great was that there is a continuously staffed reception, who were always very helpful with questions. A very big recommendation.
This is an old large house that has been converted into a hotel. It is directly next to a Lidle which was nice as we popped into the store and grabbed food for dinner. Accessing our room and parking were very easy. The beds were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was very nice and huge. We stayed in the room with 2 beds and it was perfect for our needs.
The apartment is very centrally located only one street away from Piotrkowska. It was easy to get to from the tram as well. It's a very big apartment with a very nice kitchen area and nice big windows with lots of natural light. The apartment was very warm given how cold it's been recently in Poland. Really comfortable big space to spend a few days and watch the game!
Everything - from the creative design of common areas, nice rooftop bar with great cocktail selection, to the super cozy room design (my room overlooked the theatre and sitting at the window bench sipping coffee in the morning was my favorite memory of this stay). The location is great too, really I can only recommend this hotel.
Very spacious and quiet hotel : large room, large corridors, large breakfast room, which breaks from the busy-ness of the surrounding town.
Beautiful design that refers to the town's textile history. Quite elaborated breakfast choices.
Parking at the back of the hotel (camera surveillance) and pet friendly.
Wifi is good enough for work, breakfast is great, staff is friendly and speaks English.
The room was clean and had everything we needed.
We liked that the hotel was a dog friendly, and neighborhood was pretty quiet for walks.
Very nice staff, they're enthusiastic to help. Breakfast was very good, tho I wish these hotels with buffets would cook their bacon all the way through. Comfortable bed.
Hotel is in very nice historical building in the very heart of Lodz old city. Great location, spacious and cozy rooms, Nice breakfast, great facilities.
