You can also grab a bus easily into central area. Didn't have enough time but there's a lot to see in town. Products in your shower are actually very nice and THEY HAVE CONDITIONER! Staff were sooo friendly. Nice food and snacks downstairs. Rooms was beautiful.

There is plenty of history to enjoy.
There is plenty of history to enjoy. The old town (Stare Miasto) and market (Rynek) are lovely - sadly, they are carrying out massive works all round this key area. You have to visit the Town Hall (Ratusz) for the head-butting goats. The Cathedral (on its own island in the river) is spectacular. The area around the university is really worth exploring. There are some super restaurants, cafes and pubs. Public transport is very efficient - check the Tourist Office for ticketing information. There is at least one excellent app which allows instantaneous access to travel options i.e. walk, autobus or tram. If you want shopping and a range of eateries, there is a massive mall in what used to be the old brewery - Stary Browar.

Poznan is a beautiful old city, with lots of lovely things to look at, and some great activities. The only negative is the ongoing building work that is everywhere. I would definitely come back, but would make sure the building work had completed first. Very easy to get around, most things are walkable, but lots of buses/trams if you want to go further out. Lake Malta & the pools/sauna are an absolute must! Even in the snow it was amazing to be in the heated outdoor pool, looking over the frozen lake to people skiing down the outside slope!

During our 5 night stay we ate Dinner in the hotel restaurant twice, both were totally delicious as well as all the breakfasts. I noticed on a previous review that someone had stated that the pillows were very soft but it does state in the hotel room information that you can request harder pillows. We absolutely adored the free espresso, cappuccino. coffee and hot chocolate machine in reception, lounge. We will definitely be returning in the New Year. Thank you for making our stay so pleasurable The City is just wonderful loads to do and see, the history, churches and Parks amazing so so interesting

Poznan is a beautiful city with lots of local life to enjoy. There are interesting sights to see and the bars and restaurants are high quality. Recommended for a Polish holiday a little bit off the usual Warsaw/Krackow track. The old town is walkable and the public transport for stuff further out is good too.

A great place for bimbling in one of its beautiful, well maintained parks or you can step up the adventure a bit with an escape room or a visit to Posnania - a massive shopping mall on the outskirts. Piotr the owner is super friendly, helpful and speaks excellent English. You get three keys one to the front door, one to the room and one to your locker in the room so you can come and go as you please. The kitchen is well stocked with tea/coffee etc. There is a fridge and oven etc.
