I absolutely love Poznan. I have been there seven times since 2016. This time we visited the Palmeniara which I would highly recommend. Also the little buses that do city tours are great. On the pictures looked the flat different. We received the roogtop flat. These days were wery hot weather, but the clima wasn´t working because there was not controller. We asked the lesser for controll but he refused to give i us. We were wery upset with the accomodation. Accomodation by booking is always wery stressfull !!!!

Visited many Polish cities, Poznan's right up there. Plenty to do, a fabulous market square with plenty of outdoor restaurant seating, Transport is great, trams and buses easy to use. There seem to be many museums, notibly the interactive Enigma museum and the learning centre on cathedral island, zoos and a great botanical garden all easily reached by tram.

Andresia Hotel is a very high class hotel, The most central location in Poznan, a particularly indulgent and really high-quality breakfast at a very high level. We got a perfect room with a view of all of Poznań including a complimentary mini bar and the rooms are built in an amazing and modern way. The hotel's staff is excellent, including the staff at the reception, including the staff at breakfast, the staff provided us with professional, courteous and extremely fast service. You definitely need the internet to look up public transport...
You definitely need the internet to look up public transport, which is excellent and cheap, as the city is spread out with some attractions out on the outskirts. Uber and other taxis are available and good value. The old town as many bars, restaurants, a lot serving good value Polish fayre, good idea to book, as some can be busy at the weekends. We visited a number of craft ale bars, most of which are situated just off the main square. We also visited a brewery on the edge of the city. Cathedral Island and the nearby district of Sodrek are worth a visit.George
