Leca da Palmeira about a 20-30 minute walk or 5 minute cab ride away with a good selection of restaurants and an attractive seafront. The hotel is not far from the airport and we liked the location although it was not in the centre (which can be reached easily by taxi or public transports). It offered a variety of places for lunch/dinner near by - the beach is approx 20 min walk from the hotel. And there is also a big shopping center just 10-15 min walk from the hotel. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful.
