My wife and I are still thanking God for this 3 day trip to San Salvador. The people there are all so friendly and helpful; and it is obviously because they are so happy and thankful to God for using Nayib Bukele to rid their country of the gangs, so that now they can live in peace and prosperity. I have never been to a place where the people are so friendly and kind, and willing to go out of their way to help someone. We saw an emerging new nation of people who take their freedom seriously, love their President and respect authority, and take God's mercy seriously...a nation who is educating their children properly and striving to never fall into the same terrible trap that they have been delivered from. San Salvador is an excellent place to visit. We look forward to going back sometime soon, God willing.

The new national library is a work of art and definitely worth a visit. El Salvador now is a very safe country to visit unlike some years ago. We were there end of March so it was already very hot with 39 Celsius in the afternoon. Best combine the cities Santa Ana and San Salvador with some days at the beach to cool off.

San Salvador has much to offer in the form of a very safe environment for couples, families. They are an abundance of stores, coffee shops and places to eat traditional Salvadoran or other types of food. During certain hours and in certain areas, traffic can be overwhelming. Using applications like google can help you navigate around the city as some streets do not have the name of the street posted which is a big issue that needs correction.

Safety it's a plus, feels secure and walk freely at anytime (Zona Rosa and Centro Historico...) Many places and different cuisine styles at affordable prices to choose from... Transportation it's ease using private or public service. Always use common sense to avoid dangerous situations like carrying a lot of cash large denominations...

The traffic is kinda bad, and a lot of public places like roads, walls, and parks can benefit from paint, but the local government is improving a lot of places, the facilities, and the security. I hope with time it keeps improving, for now, it's an OK site to pass on the way to nearby beaches and mountains.
For its price, location, and quality this place is a gem. I was traveling through the San Salvador region and this place was by far the better of the pack. It also has all the amenities (one of the few) that you need but would have to pay for in others like an iron, working WiFi and safe. I would definitely make this my base hotel for future visits also because it’s centralized in one of the best neighborhoods and close to the US embassy. Everything looks cleans and feel new.
Only when traveling for work do I stay in hotels like these that are business focused and have amenities like meeting spaces, gym, pool, etc, but if you are staying in San Salvador this is great base since it close to everything, safe, and there are lots of malls and restaurants nearby. The breakfast is good and the pool area is nice place to unwind. Staff is super nice. All you would expect from a Marriott.
The property is situated in Zona Rosa - central for amenities including restaurants, supermarkets etc. An Uber to the centre of San Salvador only costs about 4$ at the time of writing. The hotel is boutique style, with a lovely open plan seating area and terraza for all to enjoy. The rooms kept very clean. The breakfast area is in a garden, tranquil and peaceful. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Their "trusted driver" who met us at the airport was pleasant and professional, though he probably had nothing to do with the hotel. Also the English-speaking staffperson, Jaime, was welcoming (by phone) upon my arrival. Housekeeping staff and greeters (all El Salvadoran) were friendly and professional. The garden area looked well kept, although I only saw the part next to the parking area.
The location of the hotel was very good
And the buffet in the mornings were great. The staff was very kind and friendly
I stayed there for 4 nights and didn't really have any plans for what to do.
But 1 girl in the lobby gave me some hints and was telling me what to do.
I want to give her my highest compliment
So l just say THANK YOU THANK YOU
We were very happy with our stay. All the staff were very friendly and helpful making us feel welcome. The room , though in need of renovation (as mentioned by the other reviews) , was clean and, most importantly, the beds were very comfortable. The hotel grounds are beautiful and the breakfast buffet was excellent.
Amazing Eco hotel, friendly and very very helpful staff. Nice small garden, plants. Good breakfast. All speak good English. The manager was very nice and helpful! We loved everything. Little bit far to the old town but the taxi was so cheap. We could stay more days in this hotel in San Salvador.
exactly what I neeed after a week travelling through Central America. i enjoyed the hotel very much, room was excellent and the shower was so nice! the balcony was also a great touch. the lady in the morning is super friendly and the breakfast menu was good as it was fresh made to order
We choose these place because of the location, BUT once there is the staff that makes this place the best place to stay while in El Salvador.
10 stars 🌟 🌟 to all of them, specially Perla.
Thank you for making our stay in San Salvador an awesome one.
I liked that it was secure and clean. not bad for the cost. i’m not sure you can do better for a private hotel at this price in san salvador, so it was a fair trade to me. nothing to write home about.
Well located near Barcelo Hotel and Bamboo Center, ideal for anyone taking the TICA bus to other Central American countries, we will keep this in mind for our next trips.
THis Hotel was by far the best we stayed at in El Salvador, delicious traditional breakfast, clean and comfortable room, hot shower and cool A/C, very central location
