The room was clean and well appointed. Most importantly, as I was staying during a heatwave, the AC was effective and quiet. The small outside area did look an appealing place to relax, green and verdant, but perhaps in weather that was not so fierce!! I certainly hope to come back some time when the sun is a little more tolerant of European sensibilities!

Ayutthaya was an amazing experience - after visiting Thailand hundreds of times over 40 years - I finally made it there. It was tranquil, beautiful, romantic and incredibly interesting. Easy to get to from Bangkok by train - well worth considering!

We spent an evening and a morning here.
We spent an evening and a morning here. We arrived mid-pm direct from DMK Bangkok airport by train which took less than an hour and cost less than a pound. We went to a temple for sunset, visited a busy night market and had dinner by the river. Next am we drove around in a tuk tuk for 3 hours and visited nearly all the temples. Hot work but totally rewarding. I guess with more time we'd have done the museum as well although there's a lot of Ayutthaya to see in the National Museum in Bangkok.

Love his tory and ruins, then you will love this place.
Love his tory and ruins, then you will love this place. You can even dress up and get photo in traditional dress, or kick back in a local bar along one of the canals or go to the little floating market or the night market. Fun place, but lots of walking. Good value for money paid.

Great stay.
Great stay. We needed a few extra days to get around due to an elderly traveller however would recommend 2-3 days here, and a mix of night time and day visits to the temples. This is true old school Thailand, friendly, laidback and local pricing away from awful advantages tourism (sex, drugs, fire twirling)

The historical sites are interesting, and there are a variety of ways to see them. Tuk Tuks are plentiful and most drivers speak some English. If you want to hire a tuk tuk driver to take you to see various sites, the rates is 300 baht per hour. You can also visit l the sites individually and get a tuk tuk for about 100 baht. There is also the option of walking. Several sites are in close proximity and are easily walked or bikes can be rented, if you prefer. There is also a nice boat roar that will take you to various sites along the river for 200 baht per person. The boat trip lasts for a couple of hours.

Good value and very nice host. We were only able to stay for a night but had a great time searching temples and enjoyed the accommodation when on the property.
The property is a longer walk away from restaurants in the area if you have trouble getting around. Unfortunately my bike I rented ended up getting a flat tire. this was no problem as the hotel owner was very nice and did not charge me for the inconvenience, but with the distance we were from the property it was an issue getting back.
Perfect location for the night market and exploring the ruins. They’re literally just down the other end of the street. The free bikes were also great for exploring some of the ruins a bit further away and it was a bit cooler getting around on bike than walking. The bed was the softest mattress we’ve had so far in Thailand and there were 2 fans in the room that kept us cool enough. Cool property with little bridge to get there and great price
Perfect choice in Ayutthaya, I had a wonderful stay at Siri Guesthouse, one of a good accommodation I’ve stayed in Thailand.
Owner is so lovely and kind, speak good English. Inexpensive but all the facilities you need, Bed and shower room were so clean, no bugs bite. Free water, many local restaurants around.
You can rent bicycle and enjoy cycling to the famous historical park and close to the night market. I would stay here again.
Really helpful and friendly staff. Classic Thai architecture for the very comfortable and spacious rooms. The whole hotel property environment feels so authentic. There are lots of sitting places around the central water area which is very picturesque. The salt water pool is also excellent.
Overall, a charming, relaxing and authentic place to stay. Looking forward to returning.
This is the best hotel I've stayed in Thailand, I was one more night I thought because It was really nice and comfortable. The room was really big, clean and cute with very beautifull views. The terrace very nice and, as you have fridge, you can enjoy having dinner there. And the staff very helpfull and sweet, they help you what you need. I really recomend you!!
Plus Hostel Ayutthaya was the first stay after months in Thailand I felt like I was home. The host were all an amazing, very nice, helpful and kind. They also borrow me bike to see the sunset for free and each night I got thai desert with explanation how to eat. Thank you very much lovely family. If I am back in Ayutthaya, I definitely come back to stay.
Apart from mosquitoes that kept on getting somehow in the room, the location of the hotel is the excellent, a few mins walk from the night market and very well positioned to go visit the temples. You can rent bicycles for 50bht from the hotel which ar practical and fun to go exploring, otherwise the owner will help you book tours from the hotel
Clean, comfortable room. Loved the decor, charm and uniqueness of the guest house with all the comforts of a modern hotel(AC and en-suite bathroom). Excellent WiFi (my son was impressed with how fast it was). Choice of cooked to order breakfast. Friendly staff. ATM, restaurants, 7-11 store within ten minute radius by foot.
Comfiest beds so far in Thailand. Bike hire on site made visiting far-flung temples easy. Close enough to walk to the closest wats. Vegetarian food available at restaurants of Malakor and Heritage Indian. Would definitely use again. Walkable from the train station.
The staff was super nice, answering every questions and giving many typs regarding not only Ayuttaya if also how to travel around Thailand. The place is very pleasant and well located. Also they have rental bikes what comes very in hand in a city like Ayuttaya.
The staff was very friendly and helpful! The location is perfect, 8min walking to the night market and historical park. You can rent bikes at the hotel. The room is spacious and very clean plus it's very quiet as it's not on the main street. Highly recommend!
- Good rented bicycle
- Water dispenser is always full of water for refilled
- Free drinking bottle water per day
- Free instant coffee for breakfast
- I was allowed to keep some food in the hotel fridge.
- Friendly staff
Everything was great. The hotel is located very close to the historic park and there were bicycles available for hotel guests, which were perfect for exploring the park. Staff members were also very friendly!
Superfriendly staff, superclean, superbig bungalows with king size beds, amazing breakfast, free bikes, scooter rent, dramatic view on a stupa and a lake. One of the best places I have been in Thailand ever.
The owner is so nice and helps you with everything. He suggests good spots to visit and likes to have a chat in the evening. Can recommend this place. Will also visit it again in my next visit in Thailand.
The location is excellent. It's in the center of the city. The size of the rooms are very spatious. The atmosphere around is very pleasant. There are many places to sit and chill out inside the hotel.
Stylish, modern hotel. Lovely staff.
Delicious, large breakfasts.
Fantastic location convenient to all the sites.
