I wanted to share my fantastic experience at Mae Rim Grace with you. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the breakfasts were perfect.
The rainforest villa was also spotlessly clean and tidy.
If you are thinking about planning a big family holiday, I can definitely vote for Mae Rim Grace as a fantastic destination.

Loved all the activities we did, kayaking, caving, white water rafting, Thai boxing, zip line and elephant sanctuary. Our hosts were excellent at ensuring we either got picked up by the activity hosts or providing a driver to get us where we wanted to go. We should have ensured that we were there for a weekend as the best Chiang Mai markets appear to be at the weekend. The night market was okay for souvenirs but I wouldn't recommend the food options.

The Mae Rim area is a beautiful mountainous area located north of Chiang Mai. There is a lot to do in the area like waterfalls, botanic garden, ziplines, ATV trips, visits to elephant parks, but also a nice teak wood palace and tempel.
Our host Thapenny was warm, helpful, and so lovely. We deeply enjoyed our conversations together and hope to see her and this beautiful space again. The corner house we got was perfect and private yet very much amidst the surroundings, which is natural and blissful. Amazing space for some quiet respite and alone time away from the city. Thapenny is also a great cook who thoughtfully delighted us whenever she served meals which were always ample and delicious. Please spend some days here if you’re in Chiang Mai, you won’t regret it!
The staff were exceptional, so welcoming and friendly. The decor throughout the whole hotel was beautiful and the rooms were so spacious. The food was also fantastic. The location was slightly out of the way from Chiang Mai centre however there were popular attractions nearby so depending on what you want to do here that doesn’t need to be a problem at all. Also a Grab to the city is cheap if you don’t have a motorbike/car.
A rare small resort with beautifully designed ‘cottages’ in the most exquisite orchid garden. This is a very relaxed place. It has a good restaurant, is run by a delightful small group who care for it passionately, and is perfectly situated for a touring this lovely hilly area of the Chiang Mai region. The pool is large and salt water, set among the trees. It is a real retreat living up to every expectation.
Pete and Ying are brilliant, always going above and beyond to help ensure that your stay is hassle free. We wanted a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle but close enough that it was easy to get to all the activities we wanted to do and Country Retreat was perfect for that. Ying's food is great, and the best we had while in and around Chiang Mai.
The hotel staff were friendly and went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable
The reception even checked with out son who resides in Thailand to have him make sure everything was to our liking
Taxis were arranged and restaurants recommended
A wonderful place to relax and experience Chiang Mai
Such a warm welcome, lovely place, view is amazing, swimming pool amazing! A resort where you can just feel the love and see the effort. Its just beautiful! And the area around also one off the most beautiful Places in thailand...
Very hospitable and friendly owner who went out of his way to drive us around the mountain. Environment in the hotel is good, blended into the greeneries in the surrounding. Relaxing place to chill.
One of the best hotels we stayed in. It’s beautiful and quiet with lovely view on rice fields. Breakfast was amazing, staff excellent all despite very few guests due to Covid. Fantastic experience
The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms and high quality service
