We spent two nights at this hotel in Sanliurfa. We had two rooms and enjoyed them very much. The staff is excellent and very helpful. Our rooms were upstairs and we climbed stairs to get tho them (no lift), which was fine for us, but would be difficult for someone with mobility issues. There is no parking on site, but there is a car park quite close to the hotel. Only about 5 minute walk to the bazaar and ten minute walk to Balikligol.

The hotel was amazing. Urfa is very hot, and the room was cold when we walked in, with the ac set and working really well. It's in a really really good location, a 5 minute walk from the main Bazaar and the main street. The staff were amazing, and fixed any issues we did have really quickly. The room was massive, felt really open with a really modern bathroom which is a big plus. The lobby/courtyard area was beautiful and really peaceful, perfect for the evening when it's a little bit cooler out. Overall a really great hotel, with fantastic staff.

Oriental and interesting! The bazaar area is real - with ironsmiths forging kebab grilling spikes among antique ruined bedestans and hamams. The park and holy lake area are very attractive and unique. The fort looks massive! You can eat great kebabs in every corner at the price of five or six dollars. Did not see more than a handful westerners. Not many english-speakers but friendly people everywhere!

What a surprise!
What a surprise! I came for Göbeklitepe but could have spent days roaming the maze of historic Old Town and the market areas. Unfortunately, all the museums are still closed after last year's earthquakes but there's still a plethora of historic buildings and attractions to enjoy. The local foods were incredible and local people very eager to interact with a visitor - even if only through Google Translate.

Sanliurfa is a large city.
Sanliurfa is a large city. I stayed in the historical center. One day is needed to learn to find your way around, among the nice narrow streets, the larger avenues. As I like walking 10 km per day , I did not make use of taxis and buses. Good shoes are required ! Anyway, taxis are everywhere, and buses are frequent (every 5 minutes ). For walking further away to touristical places like Göbeklitepe, Karahantepe, Harran, Halfeti, etc. : organized tours, buses or private accomodation .
Meals during the day, in many restaurants, or in shopping centers, all cheap, with fresh traditional food. Just not easy to get vegetarian meals, but many recipes are meat free (pide with cheese, or spinach, pizza with vegetables, for example, soups, shepherd's salad...).
season is very important : avoid Sanliurfa in full summer if you don-t like yoo hot ! sme tourists leave the city after 1-2 days because they were not aware of the temepratures... so have a close look to monthly temperature charts before choosing your period .

I'm so glad we added Urfa to our itinerary.
I'm so glad we added Urfa to our itinerary. It was very different from the other places we visited on our trip (Istanbul, Izmir, Göreme, Denizli, Kaş). It felt much more traditional and less cosmopolitan, but the people we interacted with were just as friendly, and we felt just as safe as we had in other parts of the country. There is a lot to see and do in the area. The archaeological museum is not to be missed; standing in their full-sized replica of Göbeklitepe felt magical. We appreciated having a rental car, to be able to drive down to Harran on our own. It seems that there is less English spoken in this part of the country than in Istanbul (e.g. in the restaurants and in the market), so it helps to have the Google Translate app with the Turkish dictionary downloaded ahead of time for offline use.
Staff were amazing! Particular thanks to Defne who helped arrange for a visit to Gobekli tepe and Sira Gecesi - both of which were incredible experiences.
The hotel is really well located with a decent breakfast! Good wifi! The pomegranate tree in the courtyard is really memorable.
They upgraded my parent’s room at no additional cost to accommodate mobility issues.
We loved our visit and wished we could have stayed longer! Overall, we were charmed by Urfa and the hotel just made the experience all the more amazing!
First of all the host is amazing, hospitable, warm welcome.
The garden with a fountain is beautiful and provides relief from the sun. A different breakfast every day, delicious tea. Clean room, huge shower, comfortable beds, silence (the courtyard is also isolated from the street). The hotel is literally 3 steps from the "main" street where you can find street food, cafes and coffee. There is a parking lot nearby that is closed at night.
The breakfast was very complete including the local specialties. The location of the hotel is perfect at a walking distance to the majority of the touristic attractions and to the city centre. This hotel has its own parking place which is very important if you come to Sanliurfa by your own car. The hotel room is nicely decorated and the stuff is always very attend to your questions and trying to make your stay perfect.
Located at the entrance of the old City, this hotel is within walking distance of the main attractions of Urfa (10 min) . Easily accessible by car there is a parking 3 minutes away (additional fees)
The hotel is a beautiful traditional stone building. The rooms are nicely decorated The personnel is nice and helpful.
The place is quiet as it is away from the main street .
Super friendly and caring staff , cleanness was above my expectations and they did everything to make you comfortable. The manager was a lady that was very nice and you could see her management touch in every nice aspect of the hotel .
The location was great, very close to everything. The room was spacious, the young hotel Manager Metin was very responsive and helpful. He even helped us with the booking for hotel in next city and arranged transportation for us.
Very quiet place in the city - beautiful property a little oasis - rooms large and comfortable- lovely courtyards
Parking is by arrangement with nearby parking lot - back way makes it close to the hotel
Breakfast is amazing!
The house has history, 500 years.
The staff is amazing, they gave us recomendations and organize a private tour for us and transportation to the hotel.
The driver we had, Ferman amazing person.
The breakfast pretty good.
The owner of the place is very kind and helpful. But more, the staff Yunus and İbrahim were amazing and helpful. We had an amazing experience in the hotel. Very warm, welcoming. You feel like this is your home.
The location was rather strategic and close to all major attraction. Room just ok. Since hotel has no parking, we had to park our car at the otopark. Fees for otopark was a bit steep at 300tl for 2 nights.
The room and hotel is great, very fitting to the stone architecture of the city. And the staff was really helpful, kind and attentive, super welcoming! So I really can only say good things
Hotel is situated right in the historical centre of Sanliurfa. Staff were great, they even accommodated us at 0:00 (2 hours after our official check in). Breakfast was very rich and tasty.
Hotel is right across Balikligol so really in great location. 5 min and you’re there.
There was parking at the hotel which was great as driving in Sanliurfa was chaotic.
Large room. Ancient surroundings/hotel. It felt really special. Mustafa, the host, was wonderful. A sweet young man. Courtyard was a sanctuary from busy streets.
The hotel is a 600 years old beautifull restaurated place. The owner miss yasemin and and her staf, edoecially Fatih are extremist helpfull and friendly
