With its unique architecture in Marrakech style, this special-category hotel is located next to Balikli Lake and Urfa Castle. The service we got was way above the prize we payed. The first person we met at the lobby, was so nice, and helped us so much in planning our stay (visiting museums, archeaological sites, restaurants, shuttle to the airport): he was just great and so helpful. Above all, the hotel is really great, just in the middle of the old city and in walking distance of all major things to visit.

People are friendly and helpful. Even if you don’t speak the language that well. Great food, music and Beautiful architecture. I was walking around on my own as a single female and I felt safe and welcomed. It was allot of fun to talk with the local vendors, they have a great since of humor.
I had a guide named serdar avci. We went all through the old town. I liked urfa. The museums were good. People offer tea all the time. I liked the hotel elci Konagi. It's in an older neighborhood next To a very old church as in 1000 year old or older . There are places where bread is Baked and in the mornings children walk to school. This is an interesting place.
The people are very friendly. You should also be attentive to your surroundings. I did have something removed from my pocket, but it was of little value. Do not leave your bags unattended. Other than that, we had a great visit. The people try very hard to make us feel welcome.
2 full days and One night stay enough to finish all sightseeing locations and enjoy the night view at Seyirtepe. Dont forget to eat BBQ liver at Aziz Usta for breakfast and enjoying Künef dessert in Hacıbaba

Lovely boutique hotel in a very old nicely restored building. The property adjoins a beautiful former church and now a mosque. The staff are very kind, even though English is limited. Huge breakfast included. The location is perfect, close to the most important sites in Şanlıurfa. It is very much a working class neighborhood and fascinating to visit. Great food at recommended restaurants and add small kebab places in the market. A truly wonderful experience.

Very nice hotel with a 200-year history. Loved the place and the hospitality of the owner and the staff. The location is very comfortable for those who want to spend a few days in the middle of the city. The Ibraham's lake is in 15-minutes walk, the night Market is in the next street. Special thanks for breakfast and coffee. We enjoyed our stay and would come back when we are in Urfa.

No one knows English and its difficult to communicate although I booked Hilton due to versatility of their staff. We got Check Inn after an hour long wait when the manager came who speaks English. Break Fast was poor with know one to attend even at 7.15am. Limited choices. Hotel was clean, Maintained & comfortable.

The hotel was in a beautifully converted building typical of the area, and comfortably furnished in the local style. The owner was incredibly kind. When one of our party fell very ill, he borrowed his daughter’s car to rush our friend to hospital. Nothing was too much trouble for him.

It was great to stay in this hotel. Stuff were very helpful. It was really close to the public transport and also about 20 min to walk to the city centre. There are many shops near to the hotel. There is 24h reception in the hotel. The breakfast was very good!
