San Juan has everything you could want from household items, grocery, food, banking, hardware fresh meats, fruits & veggies. However the traffic and getting public transportation on weekdays can be a bit much, so would suggest leaving after 9am and getting back in before 3pm... to avoid heavy traffic getting back into San Juan.
