Really comfortable beds, nice strong hot shower, fast WIFI, good lighting in room and best location! Near the subway station , family mart is just across, and beside a really nice bar (Recall) and cafes. 5 min walking distance to the night market. Really good value breakfast buffet for 99NT$ with noodles, rice, bread and dumplings. Will highly recommend!

Perfect location! There’s a game room and another common area where you can spend time either reading a book, working, or just about anything. Designs are a bit eccentric but very eye-catching.

Fantastic city undiscovered by Westerners. Art district is modern, fun and lively with lots of great art, restaurants, shops and even a movie theatre. Fo Guang Shan Buddhist site and museum is about a 30 minute drive out of town and has some very impressive pieces. Lotus Lake was interesting. Qijin Island was worth a visit--about a 20 minute walk then a 10 minute ferry ride.

Kaohsiung is beautiful!
Kaohsiung is beautiful! There are a number of hiking trails that are easily accessible from the city. Lots of restaurant and cafe options around. More importantly though, it's the people. Taiwanese people are very friendly, respectful, soft-spoken, and generally pleasant. Will definitely go back to Taiwan.
- amazing view of the city from the double bed! 10th floor
- double bed in 10 bed dorm was so comfy with such comfy bedding
- great location centrally, near train station, right by metro on red line, really central and easy to get around
- free juice in the hostel!
- nice touches in the bathroom including toiletries and hair bands and cotton pads
- best hostel that we have stayed in in Taiwan!
- lockers in the dorm for valuables
- enough space in the dorm (we only had 1 other person in there in the 10 bed dorm in March)
Poli, the front desk girl was friendly and professional. She provided the excellent service while we stayed at Airline Inn @ Kaohsiung Station in Taiwan. Poli greeted customers with her genuine smile and she informed customers about hotel’s facilities once they check-in. She also was very helpful and patient in answering questions at the front desk. Poli even helped me to download the uBike App on my phone so my 15 years old son can stroll around the town. If I ever go back to the same hotel is because of Poli.
Stayed 3 nights in room 201. Mattress comfortably firm, water pressure very good. They have a small garden behind with tables and chairs. Smoking area in front of hotel. Also provide free snacks, coffee, tea and cold drinks.
Front desk Ms Yu was very kind, offered to keep our room card in order to cool our room before we return. Also gave good advice on sightseeing spots.
10 minutes walk from kaohsiung station and slightly more from formosa boulevard station.
As all Kindness Hotels, this also has free ice cream and small snacks as well as drinks all day. I liked that they also gave a coupon for one beer or juice per day.
They offer free laundry, although unfortunately the laundry drier we used fell apart (a piece inside came off). Might need more maintenance.
It's nice to explore Kaohsiung on the hotel's bicycles, although they're very small and not in best condition.
Staff was always very friendly.
15 mins walk from Kaohsiung station, a bit longer due to construction boarding up of station. Great that breakfast was included. You order breakfast from menu (see photo) the day before and the hotel buys the breakfast ftom those local breakfast stall. I liked the bacon egg roll. And free coffee. Many English and Chinese movies TV channels. The hotel provides free bicycles but I forgot to use it 😑
The absolute best part of this hotel is the wonderful staff. They are so kind, friendly, and you feel so welcome there. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Parking is limited but they do find a way to accommodate. Free ice cream and coffee round the clock is a nice touch. It is convenient to the light rail and only 3 stops to the Kaohsiung exhibition center.
It's a great hotel that offers everything you need for a stay in the city, the single room is great for a short stay, clean and with very comfortable bed and a Smart TV (prime/netflix). Good area to explore Kaohsiung, night markets and restaurants nearby not far from the river and docks. I fully enjoyed my stay.
Great location. Just 3 mins walk from Kaohsiung Main Station. Also, you can shop to your heart’s delight at wholesale prices at Houyi Shopping District just next to the hotel. Shops open at 10am. Can take beautiful pictures under the canopy of umbrellas above the street too. The pillows are good too.
Very convenient location close to Kaohsiung train station, nice small eateries nearby. Maybe the best hotel breakfast I had in Taiwan before (if you like Taiwanese style breakfast :) ). Room has everything you need even for a longer stay (small wardrobe, fridge, small desk, hot water dispender).
Really neat and nice hotel right in the city centre of Kaohsiung. The personel is able to speak English as she helped us with a lot! Besides, there is a really cool market just one block away. Regarding the price it is a very convenient option to stay in!
The staff were helpful. Location is good, just oppositethe Kaohsiung station, and within walking distance to Liuhe night market. Hotel also comes with free laundry service within the premise, which is very useful.
1. I like the location of the hotel very much. Easily accessible to the Kaohsiung Station and many restaurants around the hotel.
2. The staff was helpful. Whenever I asked them for anything, they helped me.
