I was just passing through this time but the people in Arkansas are so friendly and welcoming. Sim's BBQ had been recommended by a local but because of the storms we were not able to try it. Hot Springs is pretty close, too, and has many nice trails for walkers right around the National Park which surrounds the town. And don't miss McClard's BBQ if in Hot Springs. Uber is a great way to get around if you don't have a car. Also not in LR, the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art is exceptional (and free) if you are able to get to Bentonville.

The whole area is under construction. The traffic is crazy and it's not a very friendly area. We were told that the police raided the hotel the night before due to prostitution. 20 people were supposedly arrested.Barbara - 6.0Scored 6.0

We wouldnt stay here again due to the noise from the people upstairs. The staff didnt bother to ask the people to quiet down. We were up til midnight, when it finally got quiet. The road traffic is a bit loud also. The beds are more firm. Our backs were hurting. If you like firm beds and noise, this is your hotel. And we still haven't figured our why we paid $20 for parking.

The rooms were very clean and the lobby was beautiful. Free parking was a major plus. We stayed at 5 hotels this trip and this was the most affordable and one of the nicest.
