We loved the “time period” decor of our room. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed the freedom to walk around and enjoy it. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were the best!

The location was great; an easy walk to restaurants and bars downtown. Breakfast was superb! I only regret we weren't able to spend more than one night.

Love the Riverview Park but the town was not very intriguing. There is no places to eat. One or two local restaurants but most were closed down. So that left the basics. So went to Popeye’s. Employees were rude! Next time went to McDonald’s, everything was cold. So if you want food, bring your own.

Vidalia is a small country town with a few nice places to eat and visit. Vidalia being next to the Mississippi river is nice. Natchez is on the other side of the river with more places to see and visit.

Beautiful old church is worth a visit. All are free.. just a donation. Very quiet in Natchez in November. Vidalia is much like alot of American towns.

Sorry we were passing through to Natchez Trace from New Orleans. Didn't see Vidalia as we spent evening in Natchez. Natchez possibly deserved more time, looks a pleasant place, however onwards and upwards eh.
Drank at Under Hill Saloon - ignore the neighsayers it's a nice comfortable and interesting pub don't expect Disney because it's not what it is though is charming and local. We ate at The Camp had catfish plate and rootbeer - fantastic!

The restaurants in the area was good, friendly people and staff, We toured Old Winery and old Homes. The view from our room was great, we watch fireworks over the riverwalk. I would recommend Comfort Suits, Vidalia. Excellent!!
The options were minimal and it was hard to fine a balanced meal since I am allergic to wheat. Most places give gluten free options for those of us that can't eat wheat products. It is close to the river, but the view on our last stay was better. The hotel seems to have deteriorated. We stayed there about 10 years ago and we were very satisfied at that time with the condition of the rooms and common areas.
