Beautiful place to stay. Comfortable rooms and wonderful food. Lovely breakfast each morning in their beautiful restaurant. The waitress (Nichelle) was great. My husband and I enjoyed the whole place. We would recommend.
I wish we had had time to do tours and walk arounds, but we were there merely for a family event. The neighborhood seemed a great place to loiter around, although the weather was extremely chilly at the time we visited.
Love staying at The Guest House and dining there at Farrah’s. Enjoyed the food and atmosphere at Frankie’s on Main, shopping downtown eating dinner at The Kitchen Bistro while listening to a jazz pianist. Also loved the band at Locust Alley. Took the walking Ghost Tour with Scott and was fascinated to go inside the old jail.
A city with a lot of history, I loved going to the famous Under-the-Hill Saloon, it takes the cake, be sure to go. It has an excellent vibe, I liked the decoration, music and atmosphere. I walked right away from the Mississippi River, I just didn't have time to visit some of the mansions that abound there; like Longwood or Rosalie Mansion.
Beautiful town with a lot of historic homes and great places to eat. Love sitting and watching the tug boats pushing barges down the Mississippi River, Under the Hill you will find The Camp - great food and drinks.
The town and local s were wonderful.Shopping was excellent, food was great. The balloon fest was a disappointment. Nothing was on time, and there was no balloon flights unless you knew where to watch them take off from wherever they decided to do that from. And that was not the festival,we waited hours to see something and the glow was 4 balloons for maybe 20 min flickering. NOT what the paper and adds built it up to be,talked to many disappointed people. The highlight of the trip was seeing Chapel Heart sing, they were awesome!
Natchez
This place was exceptional. Jessica at the front desk was so helpful and nice. Henry, the gentleman who served us breakfast every morning, was just an absolute delight. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do in Natchez. The rooms were fantastic (we had two rooms). We even got a ghost story from the owner. I will stay there every single time I go to Natchez. The breakfast (which is included with your stay) was so good, and just enough without being too heavy. You feel like you are in someone's home, not a hotel.
We enjoyed our stay at Linden, which is a beautiful and very impressive historic property. Definitely a memorable and unusual experience. Breakfast was excellent and served by two delightful members of staff. Our rooms and beds were comfortable and furnished with wonderful period furniture - we've never had to use steps to get into bed before! It's a short drive into town where there are plenty of places to eat - we especially liked the older places in Natchez Under the Hill.
Natchez
Ten years ago this was my go to spot when i visited the area which was about once a month for a year. The property had started to go down in appearance and quality so i stopped going to this hotel. This time i went the property and I had seen that they were under new ownership and they had put a little bit of funding back into the property. As someone else said this place is not the Taj Mahal but for the price it was pretty good.
Natchez
Felt like a home away from home. Nell welcomed us graciously and all the staff exhibited true southern hospitality. We had a girls getaway with 3 overnight guests and 2 locals. Along with us they enjoyed an evening reception and a full breakfast the next morning. Our room was large (3 beds) and they were comfortable. I will definitely return to The Burn and will recommend it to other friends visiting Natchez.
Natchez
Breakfast was very good, though you were not provided with a menu, the staff just came and served each course. It is in a great location so you can walk to the main street/restaurants and the river. Owners are very friendly and gave great tips on where to eat. The facilities were very good. The room was very comfortable. It was nice to stay in a house for a change and not a hotel.
Natchez
From the front desk to all the staff at Days Inn by Wyndham Natchez Mississippi, the accommodations were awesome showers for hot, and the bed was very comfortable. We got a free supper and free breakfast and the coffee was good! All in all our visit was very pleasant and I would come back to this hotel! Thank you so much!
The cost of this hotel was very good compared to hotels round about. The room was perfectly adequate and had everything we needed. Breakfast was fine, although the cereals were very sugar intensive. The lady in the restaurant area keep asking if we wanted anything and was very attentive.
Natchez
Our stay was fabulous. The home is full of southern charm and all the comforts you could ask for. The host was incredibly sweet and welcoming. We will definitely stay here again when the time comes to visit Natchez.
Absolutely nothing was good about this hotel. Not recommended. Pay a little more and stay somewhere else... anywhere else.
