Hotel in Uptown, New Orleans
Located in New Orleans, 1.3 miles from Uptown New Orleans Historic District, Park View Historic Hotel has accommodations with a shared lounge, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. This was mine and Miss Susan`s 12th visit to New Orleans, but the 1st time this far into the Garden District. I liked all aspects of the hotel, there were never any problems, all of the staff made our 10 day stay very comfortable. In the afternoons we often spent time on the veranda watching the squirrels and lizards running about, the property is antebellum, 1850 I believe, and is full of character. We stayed on the 3rd floor, up a couple of flights of stairs, this for me was my exercise for the day !! Being on St. Charles, the street car line was just outside the hotel, very handy indeed for trips into the city. Audubon park is just across Walnut street and a pleasant stroll for a little more easy exercise. I did read the reviews of the hotel before I booked and made up my own mind to stay there, I would stay there again. Thank you for making our time with you so memorable. PS, is the new bar finished ?

I like Shreveport Louisiana there's a comfort there for me I've lived there before in the past for short time circumstances wasn't too cool so I came back to California which is home to me I flew from California San Francisco to Texas Dallas and then I drove a rent a car to Shreveport it was quite a trip I would stay in this hotel again if they just upgraded it and made it a little fresh and cleaner it will be perfect it's a nice historic beautiful atmosphere one of probably the oldest buildings that are still downtown
My family’s shopping and hangout spot. Whenever we want to just get out the house for a little while, we drive to BR and go to the Mall of Louisiana!
Great city, lots of live music, nice food, not expensive. Lots of history! Louisiana records factory, great place to buy music. Mother’s nice restaurant, Creole Steamboat Historical Cruise very nice! The spotted cat great bar with live music!
Lafayette is one of the most enjoyable cities in Louisiana that I have found to enjoy. I have lots of family and friends that resides in Lafayette. And the food is immaculate .this is a true statement when it comes to Lafayette Louisiana, Bon Ton roulet.
We enjoyed a city tour that was excellent for an overview. Louisiana Tour company will pick you up at your hotel. We then used the street car system to get around and spent most of our time in the French Quarter. The carriage ride is worth the money for a great history lesson of the Quarter. Spirits on Boubon cooks a great steak and you can’t beat the Gumbo Shop for local favorites.
I went to Margaritaville Casino the aquarium and I enjoyed every minute of it reventure downtown when went to eat at the IHOP we went shopping at Citi Trends and we had a very great family vacation for 2 days I went to visit family and friends overall I love traveling to Shreveport Louisiana Shreveport Bossier and I recommend it to anyone
This hotel was great!! I liked everything about it. Great location, great friendly staff, big comfortable bed, great accommodations, and a nice big clean bathroom filled with all the things you need! I stayed here for a little mini vacation away from home for a night. It was great. Louisiana is a swampy area, especially in this area so don’t expect some big nice view. For that you need to go into the city. I prefer the quiet outskirts of town. It’s quiet and beautiful to me. The staff were friendly and amazingly attentive and helpful with both check in and out. The bed was so comfortable and all the 6 to 8 pillows were so soft!!! I felt like I was floating on the clouds!!! I will definitely be booking this hotel for my next mini vacation away from home. The hotel is not far from my work and home so I wasn’t far from anything I needed or would need. I truly enjoyed my stay. I didn’t make it down for breakfast but I’m so sure buy the smell that still lingered on my way out that it was amazing!! I could only imagine what it would have tasted like. It was a free breakfast and I know you have to go down in most hotels to eat the free breakfast. But if they could have delivered it to the room I would have just ordered it. Didn’t really check into that. But overall I highly recommend this hotel for a one night to longer stay!! It is amazing!!! Definitely gonna book again on my next mini (run away from home for a night) vacation!!
Lots of shade and plenty of room. They allow you to bring in a small ice chest with food/ drinks which I recommend because the Zoo food is very overpriced and mediocre taste. Stop at Louisiana welcome center for discount Tickets for admission price. $3 off since the cost of admission applies to ages 2 and up
Trail Boss restaurant and Cane Sugar Sports Bar and Grill. Both great eating experiences! Natchitoches has an adorable Old Town full of beautiful historic homes and a Fort. Northwestern Louisiana University is a beautiful campus over 100 years old.
Lake Charles is a wonderful town! It's Louisiana at it's finest. The Golden Nugget and LaBerge are the crown jewels of the area. Great beach, lots of entertainment and lots of fun!
Exceptional Lobby décor. Staff also exceptional; met me at front desk with friendly smile and great service. If you come to visit this Hotel, you will feel welcomed. Room smelled fresh, was very comfortable, clean and with great air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, sofa and Wifi service. If I return to Kinder, Louisiana (and I plan on it), I will most certainly choose this same Hotel due to my experience here. Their location is awesome. The room price was very reasonable. I was very happy with my visit here at this Hotel.
My wife grew up in a nearby town. During her high school years, The Bentley was always closed. We’ve been married going on 5yrs and every single time we visit her family nearby we stay at The Bentley. She loves this hotel so much! Everything from the beautiful architecture, to the mirror lounge downstairs for drinks, and can’t forget the on site restaurant with delicious, mouthwatering Louisiana favorites! The Bentley makes visiting the In Laws a wonderful experience!!
Everything was great. Customer service was awesome. The staff are very nice and accommodating. The room is very clean. The hotel smells great, and that's impressive. Breakfast was on point. I'm working a contract job in Baton Rouge Louisiana three days per week for the next three months, so this will definitely be my home away from home three days per week for the next three months. Lovely place to stay. Thank you for everything that you do to keep us safe.
everything. it’s a casino hotel. we don’t play but it’s a clean and I think a well run casino. Our room vas very nice, bed very comfortable. the bathroom! outstanding. large shower good water pressure! Elegant! And it was the first time in our life that we saw a TV integrated in the big bathroom mirror! we had a remote control for the TV. High quality ! we stayed1 night passing through Baton Rouge Louisiana…. January 2022
This was a last minute reservation to visit a relative in hospice care. The staff was extremely helpful. In addition, they provided a shuttle to take us back-and-forth to the hospice itself, which was very much appreciated. The facility is undergoing renovation. It’s in good shape now but I think we will be excellent once the renovation is finished. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re coming to the Slidell Louisiana area.
Warm hospitality and going extra mile , making sure I was on time for airport and even doing a little extra to make sure I enjoyed my stay. I really appreciated that and I did not have high expectations of an airport hotel on my last day in Louisiana. The front desk and shuttle driver provided excellent service. It was nice to feel cared for when you are far from home and tired after a hectic week.
This hotel has a definite historic feel to it, originally the Louisiana National Bank. The lighting and ambience was also a pretty romantic experience for even our short stay. There are some magnificent art pieces in the lobby. We also had an enjoyable experience grabbing drinks and a bite at the hotel bar. The bed was restful, the room spacious and the view incredible.
We drove from Michigan all the way to Louisiana to this hotel pacifically they didn’t have our room available that it was never Cleaned and told us to go else where and couldn’t find anything available at last minute so we had to stay in our truck. Yeah that is something I totally wanted to to for our first family trip!
We evacuated from SW Louisiana for hurricane Laura. Even though we lost power at the hotel due to the storm, the staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND to see we were comfortable and to make sure we had what was needed. I have never stayed somewhere where they were so caring and selfless. We will absolutely stay again!
Every time I go out of town to Louisiana I always go to this specific hotel. It’s a very clean, quiet environment. The staff are super friendly and patient too. I’ve never had any problems with my room or checking in/checking out. It’s a really smooth and professional environment.
Haven't made it to breakfast yet.. It's 6:16am I like the room spacious and nice. Hotel lobby looks nice as well. I'm glad we found this Hotel. We are traveling from Florida to Texas, we were hesitating about stopping in Louisiana.
The facility was was nice and clean. The front desk staff was great and friendly! The rooms were very spacious and more than enough room! Highly recommended. Found a new favorite hotel whenever we have to evacuate from South Louisiana!
Checking in and out was very easy. The room was very clean. There is a Cracker Barrel right next door (walking distance). Located within a 10 min drive to Mall of Louisiana and other local attractions.
Absolutely nothing about the hotel, due to Hurricane Ida this was one of the few hotels available after bringing my family back to Louisiana and it was overpriced and just nasty
Bossier City
The property being close to the river was nice. Some of the views were great. It was also nice to be near the Louisiana Boardwalk (although it seems to be on the decline).
Great place to stay, room was very clean for me and my family. I would recommend this hotel to anyone to stay in Shreveport, Louisiana. Also was very quiet.
The property was convenient. it’s not too far from the Mall of Louisiana which is why I came down to begin with. Breakfast was what I expected, delicious!
Lake Charles
Truly a Vegas experience right here in Lake Charles,Louisiana. Awesome Hotel. A bit pricy but awesome hotel.
Hotel was clean ,well kept with a little of the Louisiana charm. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Bossier City
Location was great... 2 minutes from the Louisiana Boardwalk and plenty of restaurants
