United StatesI was on a road trip and had to stop unexpectedly overnight in Shreveport. I booked this hotel last-minute, and was very happy with my decision. The facilities, rooms, and showers were incredibly clean, and the staff was very friendly. I don't know much about Shreveport or the surrounding area, but if you need a cheap, clean place to stay, I highly recommend this hotel!

Old. Old. Old.
Old. Old. Old. We tried rooms on the 9th floor, the 14th floor, the and the 17th floor. Every room was moldy and musty. Should have left then, but stayed. Then found out that there was no water in the bathroom sink ! Entire hotel needs renovation. Will never stay here again if you gave me the room for free.

Has a lot of good restaurants.
Has a lot of good restaurants. My wife and I were in New Orleans last week and went to 2 different seafood restaurants. Have to say we were disappointed in the lack of seasoning of the food. This wasn’t the case in Shreveport. The Oyster Bar & Grill did not disappoint. Spicy but not overly. Plenty of unique places to shop too. You just have to look and ask around for them. We were there for a concert only so didn’t get to do any sightseeing.

There wasn't much to do in Shreveport other than the casinos. We did visit the aquarium. It wasn't how advertised and paying $5 for a wand to activate 4 things was bummer. Staff wasn't really friendly. One person pushed us out of the way to move a ladder to one of the tanks we were observing. The place was basically empty and it was unrealistic how rude they were or not allow us to explore.

we love the gambling. I’m just playing penny slots was absolutely wonderful. We ended up moving up to quarter slots but we had so much fun and we only took like $300 and still came home with money. We were there for three days would love to go and say at least five days The staff is absolutely exceptionally trained motivated well deserving we love keep going if you want cleaning us great hospitality wonderful rooms you have got to go to Bally’s in Shreveport.

There's not a lot to do in Shreveport in mid-March except gamble in the casinos and eat at some good restaurants. They do have some nice parks, an aquarium, and the SciPort science museum with an IMAX theater.

We got to the hotel at 1130.
We got to the hotel at 1130. The bank approved the reservation, but thought the charge out of state, because it bills as Dallas/Shreveport, was fraudulent. By time we got that taken care of it was past 2am. We hotel hopped for a week between Wingate and comped rooms at El Dorado, now Bally's casino. Great facilities and staff. Would of liked to get a weekly rate, but we didn't prepare well.

I rented this hotel because they had a swimming pool upon arrival the pool is under construction. Then I get to my room and a bid roach is lying on its back moving. I have pictures. And it was missing furniture that was on the picture on website lol. I was there 30 minutes and tried to check out. No refund. I left. Did not stay. Beware of the property
