We are avid bird watchers and have wanted to make this trip for 2 years! It did not disappoint! We are planning on returning again. We also visited the Museum of the Gulf Coast. It was fantastic! The township itself was great; however, the hotel, Studio 6, was subpar...dingy, dinky and dirty! Sorry! The bed was the first turn-off. It was not inviting at all. Why would someone try to appease someone with cigarette holes in both the bed covers as well as the curtains? It’s beyond me!

The ice box was not clean and had brown stains almost everywhere. The counter top stove off and on button was broke as well and didn't work. The hallways had a bad musty cigarette smell. The lady that worked mornings had a bad attitude and kept looking at me rolling her eyes she also failed to help with basic needs.
