The location was good, lots closeby.

The location was good, lots closeby. We went to thrift stores, cigarette stores, beauty shop, grocery stores, visited son who is at a nearby psychiatric treatment facility. The room, staff and other guests all made it a positive experience overall!

Place is a cockroach infested dump...do not stay here!

Place is a cockroach infested dump...do not stay here! This place had moldy walls , Roaches, spiderwebs on the ceiling, holes in the walls, no smoke alarms or the smoke alarm they had was broke, Very noisy, dogs barking, roosters all night long the place was just not inhabitable for my taste especially when you have cockroaches crawling on you while you're trying to sleep it was disgusting

The Non-smoking room REAKED of cigarette smoke... they had no iron/ironing board, hair dryer or toiletries (shampoo/conditioner) The sheets and blankets were stained, the sink and nightstands had cigarette burns. The place is pet friendly so more posts with doggie bags would be helpful so people would stop leaving dog feces on the grounds.. the room was small and many people seemed to live there as opposed to be just staying the weekend.

North Hill May be a possible good area but I was not...

North Hill May be a possible good area but I was not comfortable at the motel. The name is deceiving. This is not a family motel . If u know the area and motel it NOT A GOOD PLACE. I might have gotten a better deal at a Best Western or similar. Only good thing parking is with the gate . Not for a working class ... ex.. Airline employees. Or similar. My son booked it n it’s NOT ANYTHING I HAVE BOOKED N TRY TO TEACH THEM TO BOOK .

I heard it was a scary place, but it was good.

I heard it was a scary place, but it was good. Tommy's is right next door, but do your shopping early and get your groceries before checking in; because going in and out at night might be a challenge in finding stores and restaurants opened.

North Hills is definitely a good place for out-of-town...

North Hills is definitely a good place for out-of-town tourists to stay during visits to Hollywood, Studio City, or any of the more northern parts of the Los Angeles basin. Major freeways include the 405, 170, 118, and 101, from which any part of LA can be reached, including the Van Nuys Airport. Public transit is also very accessible, with the Metro Orange Line as a main thoroughfare that leads to the Red Line to Universal City, Hollywood, and Downtown LA.

The room we had was at the back of the hotel. The furthest from the main street which cut down on the traffic noise. The room had 2 double beds, a bathroom and a makeshift kitchen with a sink, fridge and microwave. There was a pool but didn't use it, the TV had some sports channels which was nice. The car was parked in a secure area behind the hotel. Linen was fresh and clean on the beds.

The staff, after a 7 hour drive we were involved in a hit and run. The hotel registration desk employee was so kind and understanding. She even let us check in early and allowed me to bring the cash key deposit once I had resolved everything with the accident.

I really appreciated the check in accommodations the lady working made for us. We had to move hotels and check in was supposed to be 3 or later but she had let us check in early due to having no place to go.

We stayed here because it was close to work and it was difficult to find a hotel that I could have my cat with me. The staff is friendly and the bed was comfortable. I just expected a bit more.

Once a hotel guest fixed the TV, I saw they had basic cable which was nice. I suppose the bed was ok, since I was able to sleep and they had air conditioning.
