IT IS A REMOTE AREA. I SATISFIED MY CURIOSITY ABOUT THIS CITY AND CONFIRMED WHAT PEOPLE SAY, WHAT THE MEDIA, AND PUBLICATIONS SAY. TO RATE AS A VERY POOR AND ABANDONED CITY, BEING IN THE POOREST STATE OF THE UNION.

There is nothing absolutely nothing in Jackson Mississippi to see except for a lot of abandon homes and the side streets are like a disaster zone.. however, the people are friendly but you definitely can expect tension in; people on both sides being racist.

They did not have a reservation for us, but charged my credit card for $44.01. The manager was talking to some people who were renting a room on a full time basis.
I tried to give him the confirmation number and he informed me again that he did not have a reservation for us and to leave.
If I had read the reviews on this nasty place, I certainly would not have given it a second look.
I believe I deserve a refund since he would not even talk to me or try to look up the confirmation number.
Please reply.

The people are extremely friendly, West Jackson was a little rough looking and the roads are in need of repair. Not somewhere I'd stay if visiting again. Maybe in the center of town or downtown area would be more ecstatically appeasing. overall, it is worth a visit or second visit.
Really disappointing that rooftop bar was not open. I think City of Jackson’s lack of leadership has affected much of the downtown business unfortunately. Elevator had a foul odor. We dreaded getting on and off and even sprayed air neutralizer with no avail. Staff professional and accommodating though. Complimentary breakfast was nice. The courtyard has a great atmosphere that boasts a coy pond and lush landscape. We spent majority of our time there. Add some low key Jazz outside and you will have something.
We showed up after booking through booking.com and they “could not find the reservation” and wanted to charge us over $50 more for the same room. We had the confirmation from booking.com showing both the hotel and dates specified. We were charged for the room and the hotel called us a “no show”. We were there and we have pictures to prove it. We ended us staying at the comfort inn next door. I am a Hilton loyalty member and will never stay at another Hilton property unless a refund is issued.
This was the second time we stayed at this Hilton in a week's time. The room was dated, but comfortable and clean. The hotel is conveniently located close to the highway. The clerk at check-in was very friendly and very helpful, letting us know where we could go to get a meal, so we didn't have to pretend we were Daniel Boone searching for a place to eat. The parking area was lighted well at night.
Is this a 5 star hotel? No. Was I expecting a 5 star hotel? Also, no. This place is perfect for a nice cheap stay. The staff has been nothing but accommodating and friendly both of the times we've stayed. The rooms are nice, comfortable, and clean. This has become one of my favorite spots to stay, simply because of the amazing staff, reasonable price, and convenient location!
Nice quiet and clean hotel. Easy to reach just off the I55. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was adequate. Never used the pool, but it looked good. Hotel is situated near a variety of fast-food restaurants and close to downtown Jackson (Capitol Building etc).
Our stay was excellent! Your staff was so helpful and welcoming during check-in. Dinner breakfast was great. Our room was wonderful. Your facility was great but your staff was amazing. If we are ever in Jackson we will definitely plan to
Stay with you
This hotel was absolutely horrible, my room had no running water , so I had to use a room next door to mine that was under construction to shower, and then I found a butcher knife under the sheets on the bed
Have enjoyed staying at this property on a couple of trips to Jackson. I've been very happy with the room and staff. In particular, the young lady who manages the breakfast - Toya - is attentive and helpful!
It was a very nice Hotel, however the outside of property needed some help. Also, I left my iPad in room and received excellent help in getting it sent to me.....cost was stupid high, but that was ok.
Terrible hotel, had to walk outside of build a ways to get to lobby for assistants , gym , breakfast etc . Only nice thing about the entire experience was that it had a nice comfy bed .
I didn't get the room because when I paid online I get to the hotel and it was a sign at the front desk and that there was no occupancy so I ended up not getting any room
friendly staff, however we were there for three nights and didn’t have any room cleaning. Hotel is under going renovations so a lot of parking space was limited.
