I like that their check out is at 12. I was visiting my husband since he's been away for work and just wanted to hang out a little longer with him and they allowed late check out. It's been a while since I've had a hotel allow late check out. So it was much appreciated.

This hotel is well equipped. The parking area was lit up all night. It's said that no theft or robbery has been reported before. We felt safe to park the car there for the night. Moreover, the front desk staff was also quite kind and helpful.

Stay at the Ocatillo Inn for the best room for the price.
Stay at the Ocatillo Inn for the best room for the price. There's a great park within walking distance! Also they have great local Chinese restaurants in this town. Ate one night at Panera and went home hungry. One dish at the Chinese restaurant was great and there were leftovers. Getting around the town is easy. Streets are well laid out. Like any town there are better parts. We found the Ocatillor Inn to be in a safer neighborhood with easy access to a park with rolling hills, paved walkways and a lake. Around the "classic inn" we risked our lives to walk our dog and found the hotel to be as run down as the neighborhood, and I really don't demand much.

What I love El Centro for is Southern airways Xpress flights to and from Phoenix in little tiny 10 Cedar Plains which I find fun as far as what to do in El Centro I have no idea because my final destination is also always Yuma where I have a great time on mountain trail riding so I’m assuming that you can do the same thing in El Centro the terrain looks to be about the same I’m not sure about specific trail systems or anything like that. I stayed at Western Murray motel which I highly recommend if you are looking for budget accommodations that is clean comfortable feels safe right next to grocery stores and other types of shopping and the owner is very caring and sweet.

Had plenty of dine outs in walking distance.
Had plenty of dine outs in walking distance. For the value, it had the basic accommodations and security. There was no coffee maker in room, does have microwave, refrigerator and iron but no iron board. However, the room was very clean, parking area was well lit, property is dated, staff was nice.
Days Inn by Wyndham in El Centro has a good Days Inn standard but it's not the top: rooms are clean and tidy but a/c is very noisy, windows shields let the light pass during the night, the door is hard to open, to come in or out from the parking you must turn around the block.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Location was good, next to gas stations, in-n-out, starbucks... Hotel breakfast was basic but good in the morning. The parking lot is well lit and has cameras. Good place to stay one night if you are planning to drive into Mexico.
The location of the hotel was very good for our purposes. We were leaving the next morning for Baja,, Mexico and wanted to get across the border early. The room itself was very nice as it appeared to be recently remodeled and we liked the proximity to restaurants.
To start, good location, easy to get to and easy to return to Interstate 8. Staff/owner operator pleasantly friendly and accommodating. Excellent value for price, clean room. Beats name brand hotels hands down. Would not hesitate to stay again in return trip
The price was good and the place was quiet. My room was spacious. All the appliances and climate controls worked. The room was cleaned every day, which hardly ever happens any more. I stay here every time I visit El Centro.
All the hotels around were about double there price so I wasn’t sure what I was getting into but this place is remodeling there rooms and the room we were in was amazing for the price that I paid!! The mattress was super comfy
This was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Nasty carpet, missing bathroom tiles, open sewer vents, blood on the towels just awful. Could not find any other hotels with a room in the area once we arrived.&&
room and lobby all seemed v clean and well equipped, breakfast was a small grab bag but that didnt bother us too much as theres an on site Dennys with a discount for hotel residents.
I have stayed in plenty budget motels and this one was worst. Dirty, flies buzzing around room, holes in walls, faulty electrical outlets, missing smoke detector, rusted microwave.
They Staff was very friendly and helpful. The Room was very clean and the beds were great. Centrally located in El centro and near a lot of restaurants and stores.
