When we arrived we were told the King Suite we had booked was no longer available and we were put into a room with two double beds. This made for an inadequate sleeping arrangement for 3 adults. We asked for a rollaway and were told none were available. One person in our party slept on the floor, The desk person told us we had been notified of this room change, but all I found was a voice message asking me to call the hotel. I didn't pick up the message as we had been driiving for 8 hours. It was a busy homecoming weekend in Bloomington so no other options were available to us.

All lights but one weren't working.
All lights but one weren't working. All plug outlets weren't working. Hair dryer had a year of dirt & dust on it. So, obviously it didn't work either. While taking a shower, tub began filling up. When i was done, i was standing in ankle deep soapy & dirty water. Sheets had long strands of hair on them. Room was stuffy, musty, & smeiiy. Not nearly enough towels & washcloths for two people. Will never stay at a Super 8 again. Good riddance!!! And the microwave didn't work...

I always stay here on my way up to Michigan since it's the perfect halfway point. We're going to make the Country Inn and Suites our favorite stopping point now since it's so clean and comfortable, not to mention priced well. Bloomington itself is nice, lots of dining options and the Doordashers actually know where they're going here, as opposed to where I live.

Yes! You stated that this Super 8 Hotel provided free breakfast.
It does NOT. The clerk said due to COVID - not for months and months.
I called another place - which was also advertising breakfast, and found out they are not doing that.
Booking.com should get this stuff corrected.

Presentation - repair the canopy out front and fix the water holes ( brick walkway) by the front doors. It’s terrible that you have to step in a puddle to gain access to your hotel. Also it was most disappointing there was no bar or restaurant in the hotel.

Traffic was light for the Weekend!
Traffic was light for the Weekend! Enjoyed Live Music for the Free piece in Uptown Circle! Both Malls were a good stop with Gloria Jeans in Eastland Mall. Enjoyed all three thrift stores we found. People seemed Nice there. I liked the small town feel with big city convenience. It was the perfect weekend/Birthday getaway when you're trying to $ave.
Room was clean and spacey, staff was kind and my children loved the pool. Breakfast ws great, eggs, waffles, toasts, bagels, jam, cream cheese, even pop tarts and some mufins.... We liked our stay a lot. The only thing I don't like and most of the hotels do is that you cannot open the window and with the summer coming rooms tend to get so stuffy. But everything else was great!
Near every site we wanted to visit in Bloomington-Normal. Very quiet at night, a lot of contract workers staying there and were gone very early in the mornings. Decent breakfast with really good coffee! Very clean with nice little pool. Staff was friendly and helpful. Air conditioner worked great (Brrr-lol) and surprisingly airport noise was not a factor inside.
I had read reviews which reported that, although the exterior appearance of the motel was unimpressive, the rooms were clean, comfortable and well-equipped. (We were especially appreciative of the refrigerator in ours because of my wife's medical condition.) We found those reviews to be accurate.
The most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. Breakfast was mediocre. No fruit, no yogurt. Breakfast chef was brewing coffee into a plastic container. I don’t enjoy plastic leaching into my coffee. Room rate was 188$ for a mediocre hotel 15 min away from most things. Gave us one wash cloth.
The room was very nice and the lady at the desk was also. The shuttle at 6.30 was fine, in fact left a bit early as we were the only ones. We very much appreciated the excellent restaurant next door where we had dinner.
There wasn't much to like about this hotel, other than the location. It's near some restaurants and very close to the interstate. It seemed clean enough for the most part, but that's about the extent of the positives.
staff was friendly, bed was surprisingly super comfy, but the room itself felt a little bit cheap and dated. i wasn't expecting a 5-star hotel or anything so it exceeded expectations for a budget hotel.
I liked the location in Normal, IL. The lobby was a nice size. Love the bar off the lobby. Easy connection to parking garage using a tunnel that crosses the street. Bed was really comfortable.
The staff was friendly. The lobby was clean and the rooms were nice. The food was good and they had a good variety of choices. The hotel was in a central and close to everything.
There is absolutely Nothing about this hotel with the exception of just how cheap the room was. It was a terrible experience and the worst sleep I’ve had in years.
