Nice city.
Nice city. Comparing to Samarkand Bukhara is smaller and main sightseeing spot are concentrated in the old city center so it's easy to see everything in 1-2 days. I would recommend to hire local guide and just relax walking via old Bukhara streets.

It was a unique experience & was like to set foot into the history of Central Asia. Several centuries of South Asia’s history starts from Bukhara, Samarkand & Tashkent. So, obviously this trip into the past was very exciting! Every building, monument in the city reminded us of their past glory & the great Mughals! From Chengis Khan, to Amir Taimur, Iban Batuta et all had set foot on this holy land. The city should get more prominence amongst the historians & tourists alike! Being nearest to India with 1.4 billion population & it’s really cheap value for money accommodation & delicious food will attract hoards of visitors. But before that more flight options & more English speaking young Uzbeks are the real necessity! We would love to travel many more times in the future. Long live Uzbeks! Long live Uzbekistan!

The old city is fabulous despite a lot of straight face tourists and despite the Coca Pepsi everywhere. Uzbekistan make a very bad deal with the capitalists. Most of the cars are Chevrolet. North American are changing the habits of the Uzbeks as well o many countries around the world. Yankees go home. Yankees go to hell

This is the most historically-focused town in Uzbekistan I have seen so far. The historical center is small, everything is in the neighborhood and very picturesque. Friendly locals, a lot to see and enjoy. Highly recommended!

I was not expecting that Bukhara will be a fascinating place to visit. Lots of historical places, architecture to visit. Great place to bargain as well. Food are so cheap and getting to places are easy especially if you download their taxi application.
Locals are very friendly.
The owner Nasridin and his wife Hamida are so so friendly and welcoming, we’ve traveled around Uzbekistan and this is the best place we’ve stayed in. All feels like at home. Generous and tasty breakfast with fresh fruits. Amazing location right in the centre of Bukhara. Rooms are specious and very clean. The owners let us stay longer after checking out hours without extra charge, it was very helpful as my mum didn’t feel well and our train was at 9pm. If I visit again Bukhara I will definitely stay only at this amazing place.
The hotel is the best you can get in Bukhara. It is next to Labi Haus and on walking distance to all places to visit. The atmosphere is amazing- a real caravanserai, kept authentic and cozy. There is ATM, restaurants, taxi stop and cafes close to it. The personnel are very friendly and welcoming people. We had to check out before breakfast and they prepared us boxes with food to eat on the go. Highly recommend it and will definitely book it again if I visit Bukhara.
The staff is superb, just like a family making you feel at home and accommodating all your needs. Ra'iza, the owner, is an unparalleled source of information and kindness, a true scholar on Bukhara. The quiet, cozy courtyard and the upper majlis terrace are perfect for those who enjoy reading time outdoors, or chatting deep conversations... This hotel was the best in our trip to Uzbekistan, and surely an ideal one for both short and long stays.
We had a great stay at Samani! It's run by a friendly family and staff who make you feel very welcome. We loved the atmospheric courtyard and their breakfast is great, with different homemade treats each morning. The bed was comfy and the staff keep everything super clean. The location is excellent, really close to the Lyubi Hauz plaza and walkable from most sights in Bukhara. We would definitely stay again if we come back to Uzbekistan!
The hotel is situated near the historical monuments in quite city. Servise is very proffesional. Breakfast very delicious. Rooms are big for Uzbekistan if i compare with another hotels where i stayed. Wi-Fi works very good. There is a beautiful yard where you can drink tea and coffee. The manager of hotel Olim was very friendly. He helped me with the train tickets. Hotel is very fresh and the price is also good.
The receptionist is helpful. The money exchange rate this hotel provided was the best in all Uzbekistan hotels we stayed (6 stayed in 6 different hotels). The room is spacious! The location is close to the historical attractions, and you can walk to the Kalon Minerat in 15 mins. Instead of buffet breakfast, this hotel provides set breakfast, not so rich in variety but enough to make us feel satisfied.
Traveled around Uzbekistan for 5 days and Naqshband was by far the best hotel we have booked. Best location, authentic yet modern family atmosphere, very well trained, helpful and helpful staff. We slept well and had a great breakfast on the terrace. This terrace is one of the highest points in the old city. In short, a cultural, stylish hotel. I will definitely come back here.
This hotel was everything what we needed! The location was excellent, very clean and beautiful room. We had breakfast every day which is tasty, fresh and unique! The stuff was very kind and helpful especially when we needed help. The view from the rooftop/terrace was fabulous, as the hotel is located in the heart of ancient Bukhara. Will definitely come back again!
Oasis Boutique Hotel is located near Bukhara's main cultural sites, making it a great place to stay. The area is safe to walk at night, essential for a female solo traveller. The room was bigger than I expected, comfortable and well-equipped. The staff was friendly and professional and ready to help when I had a problem with the taxi pick-up.
Beautiful hotel with excellent combination of traditional Bukharian architecture and modern design.
Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the hotel is superbly situated for access to all of the historic sites of Bukhara along with a good selection of restaurants
We would highly recommend this hotel
Very tastfull decoration and stylish hotel located at the door of old Bukhara. This fully deserve the appelation of boutique hotel. Staff is very attentive and make sure all request are met. I particularly appreciated the patio (small inner court) for breakfast. I highly recommand this boutique hotel.
The place is simple, tastefully decorated, in perfect location and the staff is super helpful and nice. It’s definitely a place to visit again if you are looking for a good but affordable hotel. If you looking for a luxury you may want to upgrade to a more expensive hotel.
Amazing location in the old town, but not deep in the residential streets. Very convenient to walk to all the sights, lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. New hotel, nice design, very clean, comfy beds. Great breakfast and very attentive staff.
We loved it here! The room was very comfortable and clean. The hosts were super nice, very welcoming and helpful with our questions. The breakfast was one of the best ones we had in Uzbekistan, so tasty!
I have stayed at dozen of hotels in Bukhara. This was on the top of the list of best experiences ever. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine. Thank you so much.
