Nice city.
Nice city. Comparing to Samarkand Bukhara is smaller and main sightseeing spot are concentrated in the old city center so it's easy to see everything in 1-2 days. I would recommend to hire local guide and just relax walking via old Bukhara streets.

It was a unique experience & was like to set foot into the history of Central Asia. Several centuries of South Asia’s history starts from Bukhara, Samarkand & Tashkent. So, obviously this trip into the past was very exciting! Every building, monument in the city reminded us of their past glory & the great Mughals! From Chengis Khan, to Amir Taimur, Iban Batuta et all had set foot on this holy land. The city should get more prominence amongst the historians & tourists alike! Being nearest to India with 1.4 billion population & it’s really cheap value for money accommodation & delicious food will attract hoards of visitors. But before that more flight options & more English speaking young Uzbeks are the real necessity! We would love to travel many more times in the future. Long live Uzbeks! Long live Uzbekistan!

The old city is fabulous despite a lot of straight face tourists and despite the Coca Pepsi everywhere. Uzbekistan make a very bad deal with the capitalists. Most of the cars are Chevrolet. North American are changing the habits of the Uzbeks as well o many countries around the world. Yankees go home. Yankees go to hell

This is the most historically-focused town in Uzbekistan I have seen so far. The historical center is small, everything is in the neighborhood and very picturesque. Friendly locals, a lot to see and enjoy. Highly recommended!

I was not expecting that Bukhara will be a fascinating place to visit. Lots of historical places, architecture to visit. Great place to bargain as well. Food are so cheap and getting to places are easy especially if you download their taxi application.
Locals are very friendly.
This hotel is conveniently located at the border of the old city. No problem arriving by car, which is good when carrying luggage. Old town is within a very easy walking distance. The hotel itself has been constructed based on an old courtyard concept, fitting very well with the surrounding old town, and with high quality materials and convenience. The hotel received an award for best design (or something similar, did not pay too much attention) in Uzbekistan, which is completely deserved. Very nice. The staff is also very good and caring.
5 mins walk from Lyubi Haus so plenty of restaurants nearby. Approx. 15 mins walk to Poi Kalyon.
Best breakfast we had of all the places we stayed in Uzbekistan
No English spoken (or very basic) so all communication done by audio translate into their phones but this worked fine
Basic facilities but what I expected for the price and the room was larger than expected and comfortable
Hosts welcoming and friendly. It's a small guesthouse with only a few rooms and the family live on the premises.
My stay at Komil Bukhara Boutique Hotel was absolutely great 🇺🇿. I have chosen this hotel due to the beautiful decorations and mosaics. Each room has a different theme, and the owner is very warm and professional, allowing me to tour the facility. The hotel appears to be the top choice among visitors to Bukhara since it is also listed on many tour companies' itineraries. Excellent location, close to the city's main attractions by foot. The personnel were very professional and courteous.
This family-run guesthouse is just amazing. The owner always has a smile on her face and is super friendly and interested. She did everything to make our stay just perfect. We even got treated with cold juice and watermelon when it was very hot outside.
The breakfast is the best we have had so far in Uzbekistan. It varies every day and contained fresh homemade food and fruits - so delicious!
Thanks a bunch for the wonderful stay! We enjoyed our time a lot and will come back one day.
This was definetly the best hotel we stayed at in Uzbekistan.
the rooms are great, very big and comfortable, the bathroom was lovely, very clean
the pool is great especially if you visit Uzbekistan after may when it gets really hot
i recommend the massage, it was amazing
i think it’s a great stay for the money you are paying and also you need to always have in consideration that this is a 4* hotel in Uzbekistan, not Europe, the services and facilities are extremely good
The hotel staff was very friendly, although the daytime receptionists could not speak English. That problem was solvable with a translation app though. The location of the hotel is pretty good, on the edge of the old city, and quite close to my favorite restaurant in the city, Chalet Bukhara, where I had five quite tasty meals in my four days in Bukhara. The room itself was cozy and quiet, so good for sleeping.
EXCEPTIONAL. Ancient authentic 2 floor luxury appartments with extremely spacious living room and bedroom. Lovely and supportive host who recommended great places and amazing activities. Breakfast was so good that we were supper full for the all day. We received an A-star hospitality and one of the best experience in whole Uzbekistan. Absolutely best hotel value for money!
Oasis Boutique Hotel is located near Bukhara's main cultural sites, making it a great place to stay. The area is safe to walk at night, essential for a female solo traveller. The room was bigger than I expected, comfortable and well-equipped. The staff was friendly and professional and ready to help when I had a problem with the taxi pick-up.
The hotel is in a great location, very close to the main areas of Bukhara but quiet. The decor of the hotel is charming with a nice interior courtyard. The staff tries very hard to help and accommodate requests - from laundry, to directions to dinner reservations. Sasha & Sons is a great boutique hotel in Bukhara.
Brand new room and facilities in an excellent part of town managed by a very nice family. Havas guest house exceeded all my expectations in every way and was the best place I stayed at in all of Uzbekistan. I'll definitely look to stay here when I come back to Bukhara and you won't regret booking here so just do it.
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel very much. It was a great location and food was very good at the restaurant where we had both breakfast and dinner. Hotel staff was also very helpful. Arranged PCR test at the hotel and gave us late checkout. It is a bit expensive considering it’s in Uzbekistan but it was worth it.
Lovely hotel in the center of Bukhara located in a historic building, you feel like you are in an ancient world. The hotel Is very well curated, especially the common patio and the rooms are high-end (keeping in mind that you are in rural Uzbekistan). The breakfast is fantastic and served at the patio.
best breakfast we had in Uzbekistan
owner texted us prior to arrival to assist with getting to the hotel from the train station
owner arranged visit of lesser known sites and provided great lunch recommendations for local restaurants
great courtyard for relaxing in the heat of the day
I had a wonderful stay at Minzifa Inn. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the staff are lovely, the breakfast is delicious and the rooms are spacious and have all the amenities one might need. The location is also great for visiting all of Bukhara's top sights.
I honestly like the design of the hotel. Very comtemporary and modern touch specially for the interior. Once you get into the hotel, you are disconnected from the whole neighborhood. The breakfast was very good, and the restaurant as well.
Too often i give top marks to good hotels but this is one that it should be reserved for. Absolute stunning restoration of an old madrasah done to highest of standards. Add amazing service and have property truly deserving of top marks
Small family run guest house, very nice hosts, had tea coffee whenever we asked for, had great pilaf. One
of the biggest advantages is that you can communicate in English,, not very common in Uzbekistan. Highly recommended.
Very good location of the hotel. Easy walk to the main attractions of the city. Close to the pub with craft beer. Hosts are nice. Breakfast were really delicious and quite big, bigger than elsewhere in Uzbekistan :)
The location is perfect, 2mins walking distance to main places. The room is very clean and spacious. One of the best breakfast i had in Uzbekistan. I would recommend this hotel when you come to Uzbekistan
