Firstly it was a very comfortable stay in Bukhara. My husband and I enjoyed our trip. Mr Hussain came personally to pick us up as there is a language issue. Breakfast was amazing and whenever we wanted anything they were available.

Uncle Kolya is pearl, very nice, helpful, friendly person and host.
We arrived 6 hours before our check-in time at night, even though he gave us a very comfortable room. The breakfast was very hearty. A plate full of local cooked delights with eggs, green and peroshki. He even took us to a cafe of his recommendation, helped us with bus tickets. Gold person! We loved everything about our stay.

Comfortable family run hotel in a good location. Nice architecture but interior is missing a tasteful touch.
Staff is not very responsive, not good at English and obviously not trained in hospitality so seems a bit harsh for an international traveller. The breakfast is good but expect to pay additional for a machine made coffee (not the case in any other hotel in Uzbekistan, even a cheaper one).
Overall I would not stay here again, there are better and more friendly options in Bukhara.

I loved the historical family story about this unique property . The grandmothers house is truly an authentic unique stay in this historic place - it is so in keeping with the surroundings and the fact that her lovely grandson and his wife are now building a wonderful business here is a lovely treatment to his grandmothers memory .

If you have time go also to see local markets as the caravan and the kolkhoz full just of locals. As a restaurant I suggest Old Bukhara and the filled eggplants and the Armenian appetiser

Nice city.
Nice city. Comparing to Samarkand Bukhara is smaller and main sightseeing spot are concentrated in the old city center so it's easy to see everything in 1-2 days. I would recommend to hire local guide and just relax walking via old Bukhara streets.

It was a unique experience & was like to set foot into the history of Central Asia. Several centuries of South Asia’s history starts from Bukhara, Samarkand & Tashkent. So, obviously this trip into the past was very exciting! Every building, monument in the city reminded us of their past glory & the great Mughals! From Chengis Khan, to Amir Taimur, Iban Batuta et all had set foot on this holy land. The city should get more prominence amongst the historians & tourists alike! Being nearest to India with 1.4 billion population & it’s really cheap value for money accommodation & delicious food will attract hoards of visitors. But before that more flight options & more English speaking young Uzbeks are the real necessity! We would love to travel many more times in the future. Long live Uzbeks! Long live Uzbekistan!

The old city is fabulous despite a lot of straight face tourists and despite the Coca Pepsi everywhere. Uzbekistan make a very bad deal with the capitalists. Most of the cars are Chevrolet. North American are changing the habits of the Uzbeks as well o many countries around the world. Yankees go home. Yankees go to hell
After about a month in Uzbekistan, I can easily say that this is the best hostel here without a any doubt.. VERY clean, VERY cheap and VERY good location.. Sanjar and his family were very nice and helpful.. When you see them cleaning the hostel and rooms.. you think they are preparing a surgery room!! 😅
believe me, you will notice that as soon as you enter the place.. I will definitely recommend the place.. and yeah,, don't forget to ask Sanjar about the place of the Palov and the cake shop.. he knows the best the best..👍🏼
Very nice hotel with very pleasant patio where you can relax at Western-style tables or on oriental cushions. Well equipped, stylish rooms with comfortable bath, although bedroom a bit small due to the limitations of the madrasah (which is largely rebuilt and not original). Very good breakfast which you could take in the garden/patio. The staff organized also a car with driver to continue our travel to Khiva. Probably the best hotel (actually, bed and breakfast, no restaurant) on our travel to Uzbekistan.

This hotel is amazing! We had to book it last minute as our previous hotel cancelled on us and they accomodate us without issues, even when we arrived late at night. They helped us arrange a taxi to pick us up, and they were super helpful with everything.
The room was big and comfortable, and the bathroom was new.
However, the best thing was the breakfast. It was the best breakfast of all the hotels that we stayed in Uzbekistan, really good!!
This was my BEST stay in Uzbekistan. The location is absolutely excellent, all the attractions are within a 15 min walk on both sides. The home itself is stunning and instantly gives a homely vibe. The bathroom is soooo spacious and clean. The hosts are some of the kindest and most helpful people. I had my train to Khiva at 4 am and one of the local boys stayed up just to help me out with taxi.
If you are coming to Bukhara you must stay here!!!
I would like to say thank you for all the staff in Komil hotel. There were so helpful and cool. The restaurant area has unique historical design. I found in the celling Arabic alphabet with number 1322 H which means in H Hijri Callender that's celling age 122 years.
I loved my room in the rooftop. The location is good around 300 meters to the entrance of old city. The breakfast has variety choices. Thanks Komil
Boutique Hotel Shakh offers a delightful stay in Uzbekistan. With its modern amenities, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff, it's a fantastic choice for travelers seeking convenience and relaxation. The central location makes it easy to explore nearby attractions, while the cozy atmosphere feels like a home away from home. Overall, a wonderful option for a memorable stay in Uzbekistan.
This hotel was an unexpected delight. Staff were attentive and helpful. Breakfast was excellent in terms of variety and quantity. My room was clean and comfortable. The on-site restaurant was excellent and the dining room was beautiful--a museum piece of Bukhara historic architecture and culture. It is a pleasure to write a positive review about Lyabi House Hotel
This hotel was recommended by my colleague. He praised this place very much. I only lived one day. The hotel is really good. Very tasty and rich breakfast. The hotel manager, a young girl Amina, speaks excellent English, which is very rare in hotels in Uzbekistan. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and will return here in the near future
Staff service is the best and excellent, warm and so friendly. Location is near to excess the center, plenty of restaurants and nightlife of Bukhara, but the hotel located in the small road in the old town that is little bit difficult to find. But the room and bed are so comfortable, fast wifi and breakfast is so delicious and better than expectation.
My husband and I had a very enjoyable and pleasant stay at the hotel. We were made very welcome indeed and felt ‘At home’ and relaxed. The staff were all very kind and helpful, also spoke excellent English. They were Komil (the owner), Shakhzod, Mukhammad, Rouf and Aziz. We are definitely coming back to beautiful friendly Uzbekistan.
breakfast was delicious and very filling. location was prime as we were next to all the main sites. Staff were helpful when we needed to arrange a taxi and spoke good English, which is hard to come by in Uzbekistan. superior room was spacious, clean-- loved the decor. Also, the hotel is family run which made our stay extra cosy.
Located near the city centre with all attractions, restaurants and cafes within walking distance.
Hotel staff are very welcoming and helpful and can speak basic English.
Beds are comfortable and my room had an A/C unit and TV. Fast wifi internet connection.
Breakfast is prepared fresh to order.
Low nightly prices.
The best value for money accommodation I booked in Uzbekistan. The hotel is centrally located, a stone throw from the main sights, shops and restaurants. Breakfast was fantastic with various kinds of fruits and bread was fresh. The host family is very kind and helpful too, I will definitely come back.
We were greeted by incredible hospitality in a cozy and comfortable room, with amazing breakfast (well, this seems to be normal in Uzbekistan:). Located in a quiet street 2 minutes away from the main square, it has a small shop inside with everything necessary. You don't have to look for more.
Fascinated by this boutique hotel in Bukhara with wonderful and exceptional hotel staff -Azim & Murad - they were so kind to provide all the information needed and cared too much about the guests. Breakfast was too good and architecture of hotel - like in a dream.
Porso Hotel in Bukhara, Uzbekistan, is a charming boutique hotel situated in the heart of the old city, near the Lyabi Khauz complex. It blends the traditional architectural style of old Bukhara with modern interior design
The location is perfect, 2mins walking distance to main places. The room is very clean and spacious. One of the best breakfast i had in Uzbekistan. I would recommend this hotel when you come to Uzbekistan
New and clean hotel in a quiet street. Nice management team. Comfortable room. Good breakfast. It was the best hotel I had in Uzbekistan in this price range.
