Comfortable family run hotel in a good location. Nice architecture but interior is missing a tasteful touch.
Staff is not very responsive, not good at English and obviously not trained in hospitality so seems a bit harsh for an international traveller. The breakfast is good but expect to pay additional for a machine made coffee (not the case in any other hotel in Uzbekistan, even a cheaper one).
Overall I would not stay here again, there are better and more friendly options in Bukhara.

I loved the historical family story about this unique property . The grandmothers house is truly an authentic unique stay in this historic place - it is so in keeping with the surroundings and the fact that her lovely grandson and his wife are now building a wonderful business here is a lovely treatment to his grandmothers memory .

Nice city.
Nice city. Comparing to Samarkand Bukhara is smaller and main sightseeing spot are concentrated in the old city center so it's easy to see everything in 1-2 days. I would recommend to hire local guide and just relax walking via old Bukhara streets.

It was a unique experience & was like to set foot into the history of Central Asia. Several centuries of South Asia’s history starts from Bukhara, Samarkand & Tashkent. So, obviously this trip into the past was very exciting! Every building, monument in the city reminded us of their past glory & the great Mughals! From Chengis Khan, to Amir Taimur, Iban Batuta et all had set foot on this holy land. The city should get more prominence amongst the historians & tourists alike! Being nearest to India with 1.4 billion population & it’s really cheap value for money accommodation & delicious food will attract hoards of visitors. But before that more flight options & more English speaking young Uzbeks are the real necessity! We would love to travel many more times in the future. Long live Uzbeks! Long live Uzbekistan!

The old city is fabulous despite a lot of straight face tourists and despite the Coca Pepsi everywhere. Uzbekistan make a very bad deal with the capitalists. Most of the cars are Chevrolet. North American are changing the habits of the Uzbeks as well o many countries around the world. Yankees go home. Yankees go to hell

This is the most historically-focused town in Uzbekistan I have seen so far. The historical center is small, everything is in the neighborhood and very picturesque. Friendly locals, a lot to see and enjoy. Highly recommended!

I was not expecting that Bukhara will be a fascinating place to visit. Lots of historical places, architecture to visit. Great place to bargain as well. Food are so cheap and getting to places are easy especially if you download their taxi application.
Locals are very friendly.
Exceptional Accommodation: Among all the accommodations I have experienced during my travels, the one that truly stood out was during my trip to Uzbekistan. The Reservation Manager demonstrated an extraordinary level of assistance and possessed a remarkable command of the English language. The hotel itself boasted an array of brand-new amenities and exuded a sense of comfort, particularly through its lavish beds. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a truly remarkable stay. 10/10

The location is perfect, just off Lyabi Khause Square and easily walkable to everything in old town. Breakfast is amazing - they just keep bringing food, and it's all good. The family who run the guesthouse are really wonderful, honestly concerned that you enjoy your stay, helpful, and more responsive before arrival than most guesthouses I stayed at in Uzbekistan. They can also help arrange transportation to sites outside the center for really good rates.
We finally stayed a week in rumi guesthouse and even booked a tour in Nurata mountains with them.
Breakfast was really nice and the family that runs the place is really sweet (especially baby Daniel 🤗🤗🤗)
The sister and brother speaks French which can be really nice when you need informations or just to have conversations when you want to learn more about Bukhara and Uzbekistan.
We also met great people in this guesthouse and felt like home.
My stay at Fatima in Bukhara was exceptional. The hotel seamlessly blends modern comfort with traditional Uzbek design. The new and elegantly furnished rooms provided a good retreat. The staff was very nice and kindly to ensure a perfect stay. The hotel's central location made it convenient for exploring Uzbekistan's cultural heritage. Overall, I highly recommend this Hotel for an unforgettable experience in Uzbekistan.
I absolutely loved the Amulet Hotel. I stayed in numerous cities all over Central Asia — the Hotel Amulet is my favourite hotel in all of Central Asia.
Opening the door to the Hotel Amulet is like stepping back in time. The room was cozy and comforting. The breakfast was the best breakfast I had in Central Asia. The family who run the hotel are lovely people. I would go back to Bukhara just to stay here.
Definitely the best accomodation we've had in Uzbekistan. Spacious clean room with a new fridge and a large TV coupled with beautiful bathroom. Rich breakfast from 7 to 10 am. Staff spoke good english and vere extremely helpful and welcoming - getting a shisha, a tea or a can of beer was no problem and they even helped us get a cheap taxi to the center and offered us a ride to the train station.
I spent two nights here. The atmosphere was amazing. I could feel how living around Uzbekistani people and it's joyful. The host was very kind and she told me about the story of the house. Her daughter was also very helpful in providing me taxi to Bukhara train station. You know, the breakfast was great.
"I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. The location was convenient and the atmosphere was relaxing. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay."
We liked everything about the hotel from the wonderful service to the location to the facilities to the helpful staff. Raushan, Fatima, and all the staff were absolutely wonderful. They helped with transportation sightseeing and restaurant recommendations.
Everything was perfect! The lady is super nice and tried to help me as much as she could. Easily accessible to the old town as well. The best accommodation deal I had in Uzbekistan :) If I ever come back to Bukhara I will definitely come back here.
The family that runs the hotel is wonderful! Very friendly and helpful. Sultan, the owner, offers great restaurant and historical sites recommendations. Breakfast is offered and is delicious. Also the location is wonderful. Can't recommend more!
The best hotel during my trip in Uzbekistan. Big and very clean rooms. Pool is very comfortable and clean. Staff is the best in the world. I especially want to note the manager of hotel Olim. He always helps me with my problems.
I've travelled all around Uzbekistan, and this hotel was ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!
Pretty, clean, cosy, with a good breakfast and, above all, with a super available receptionist!
I'll be back here next time in Samarkand!
The facilities, the hotel, breakfast, everything. Its a good hotel and with good facilities. Luxury feel. Staff Aziz was kind and very supportive who even upgraded our stay to suite room. Superb..
Had an amazing stay at this Hotel. The staff are very friendly and professional.
Great restaurant with the best view in Bukhara on the rooftop as well.
