This was our 3rd hotel on our trip so far and has been our favourite. Good location. Very clean rooms and bathroom. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of good places to eat and have drinks close by. Rooftop pool was nice. Good selection of breakfast options. Would stay here again. My partner also enjoyed the hotels spa a few times. We also loved the little extras like the stories about the area left on the pillows and sweets provided during the turn down service at night.

    Danang is a vibrant city with old and new traditional mixed...

    Danang is a vibrant city with old and new traditional mixed in a friendly way. People are friendly and places are clean. We spent 4 days including one night in Hoi An. Although it was raining mostly, it did not ruin our trip, we had a blast. The bars along the river in Hoi An was amazing, people are dancing happily and enjoying themselves. The old town area in Hoi An was incrediable, many cafes to try, and would recommend one named Faifo Coffee, at the rooftop, you can see the overall old town view. Also, the Banh Mi in Hoi An was very good, delicious! We also visited the Ba Na Hills and it was a good tourist point, but I would recommend the famous "golden bridge", rollar coaster and the Debay Wine Cellar. Other attractions are just mainly for photos. Many Cafes here and there, people are friendly and willing to guide you along the way. Definitely recommend this place if you haven't been.

    For a first timer in Vietnam , Da Nang is a great experience . There’s so many things to do - Ba na Hills , Hai Van Pass , The Lady Buddha , My Khe beach to mention and more . People are friendly and helpful , I love the food and city is very clean . I am already looking forward to come back …. Not to forget - the coffee is ❤️ . Thank you Da Nang !

    Very clean, modern streets, roads and shops.

    Very clean, modern streets, roads and shops. Loads of places to eat. English is spoken in most places. Many side walk cafes and bars. There is also a large ex-pat community. Mainly European and Australian, and with the cost of living so low, there is an increasing amount of British people chooseing Vietnam as you can have a comfortable life out there for £1,000 month. Many Brits like the local Tiger beer, a bottle in bar is around 60p, with say Heineken at £1 a bottle. You can choose from a foot long baguette for around £1.60 to Sushi banquet at around £8/head. Lots of American food options and steak houses offering Australian Beef. Also, loads of mini markets selling international snacks, meats, bread and cheeses. If you can get use to the way they drive, hire a motorbike / scooter. If you're familiar with driving around the arc de triomphe, you'll be at home here. Visit the giant Lady Buddha and the da nan hills. I took the opportunity to visit Ho Chi Minh (Saigon). Just an hour 20 minutes by internal flight, about £70. Well worth the trip to see the French influenced architecture, as well as the experience of its bussling centre.

    Relaxing and stress free.

    Relaxing and stress free. There was plenty to see and to enjoy the local cuisine through the multitude of restaurants. The beach, board walk, and water were clean and offered many diverse places to eat drink and snack.

    The beaches, food, transportation anf the people are excellent. The availibility of good hotels and their great hospility are positive attraction. Need to include the nearby ancient city, Hoi An. A must visit place.

    I enjoyed swimming in the pool.

    I enjoyed swimming in the pool. Our room was spacious and clean. The breakfast food selection was very limited and the service was very bad as no one speaks English. The reception staff were unable to communicate well due to their lack of speaking English properly. There weren't enough chairs near the pool to cater for all their guests which was very disappointing. The bar service took over 20 minutes to get our drinks order and to have them made - best not to order any drinks due to the length of time it takes.

    The staff is very kind and helps you with everything, like in a 5 star hotel. The hotel has really great prices with a driver who will wait for you while you are sightseeing, this made my holiday really carefree. The breakfast is really good, also we had a view on the dragon bridge. The location is in center of Da nang, really close to the airport and train station and the dragon bridge, a little further to the beach on foot, but you can get there with a grab in 5 minutes.

    Wow, a most fabulous few days of luxury at Awaken hotel. A perfect location, so close to the magnificent sandy beach and warm sea. We stayed in the family suite which was perfect for us; separate bedrooms with adjoining doors. The bedrooms were spacious and very quiet. The best nights sleep in Vietnam. We also enjoyed drinks in the evening on the roof top terrace; the staff here were exceptional in their service.

It is located in a peaceful little street with some shop a school and a lot of flowers and trees, but a few minutes of walk and you are already at DA Nang beach ! This is really a nice experience
