Dong Hoi has some beautiful beaches by the resorts, but there really isn't much else going on. There seemed to be 1-2 streets where you could shop or buy things, and there was no nightlife. The chamber was clean, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The pool was a great spot to relax after a hot day of tourism, and the efficient AC made the room very comfortable. Moreover, I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived several hours before check-in unannounced, and the staff graciously accommodated us by providing a room early.
