I LOVE this pub/hotel. I have to travel to various cities for work and I am so glad I found this spot! Very safe and welcoming and the beds are SPOTLESS! I’ve travelled to Exeter twice for work and stayed here both times. Slightly outside the centre about 10 mins by car but worth it. Amazing priced rooms, so clean , spotless bed sheets. They provide water bottles, coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the rooms which all have beautiful decor bits such as homely mugs and pillows. 100% would come back again and again!! There’s a guy local in the village that only charges £10 to take you in and out of the centre too. Lovely chap !

Our room was large and comfortable with an excellant bed. Everything was perfect including the deliciously prepared food both at dinner and breakfast. The parrot, Captain, was an added bonus. We would like to return and highly recommend The New Inn.

The hosts were amazingly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had booked 3 rooms, one so that our dog could also come with us. They were all lovely, spacious and clean. Dinner was excellent (the salt and pepper squid was delicious), as was breakfast the next morning. The way our dog was made so welcome was brilliant.
