The family-run Katschtalerhof can be found in the centre of Rennweg, at the foot of the Katschberg Mountain. It features a traditional restaurant. We were happy with the family room, very comfortable for 4. As well there was the restaurant with good food at reasonable prices. Breakfast was also very good. It was an ideal accomodation for our stopover of one night.

What struck me most when I entered the room is how beautiful it is. Design is of wood and marble-like stone. And the restaurant is beautiful as well, as is the hotel building from outside. It's the most beautiful hotel I stayed in during my travel in Austria this year. Room is not big, very cozy. Well-furnished, too, with table and chair suitable for work. Staff is also extremely nice. Breakfast is good: omelette, bacon, ham, cheeses, though there are no sausages and no fresh orange juice.
